The Green Brigade are currently on an indefinite ban from Celtic Park.

A stand off has been created by the club as they indulge in some verbal gymnastics over something that happened at the Falkirk match on October 29.

So far it has prompted three statements from Celtic, three more than they have mustered the courage up over the ridiculous refereeing this season.

PRIORITIES

Not a word about the penalty incidents involving Reo Hatate and Michel-Ange Balikwisha in the League Cup semi-final. Or the double assault on Johnny Kenny in the same match.

Don Robertson has refereed five of Celtic’s14 SPFL Premiership matches this season. Why? Other match officials are available.

Rather than stand up for the club Michael Nicholson has decided to hound the Green Brigade. Supported by his legacy media friends at the Daily Record and Scottish Sun.

Every reaction and sanction from Celtic strengthens the Celtic Fans Resolve. The Green Brigade will outlast ‘leading sports lawyer’ Nicholson inside Celtic Park.

GREEN BRIGADE SUPPORT SOARS

Three months ago there would be a sizable portion of the Celtic support opposed to the Green Brigade. Not so now. Those fans can see vindictive actions.

Around 80 fans left their seating to go to a stadium concourse. Outcome- ban 300 of the most vocal club supporters.

Despite horrific weather on Sunday and no support or publicity from the club, Celtic supporters backed the Green Brigade in incredible numbers.

While the Green Brigade volunteers time to help others Celtic paid £11.5m in Corporation Tax to HMRC.

Over the two days since the defeat from Hearts Celtic’s social media output has almost dried up. So far there has only been the announcement of the death of Dixie Deans.

There is however a new app and upgrade to Celtic TV on the way, as promised by Nicholson. More fund raising ventures.

Indeed, a club like no other.

Joe McHugh has edited Video Celts since 2010, every day covering events in and around Scotland's most successful club.

When a six year stretch at the Sunday Mirror came to an end it was clear that the future was digital, print had ran its race.

Smart phones and social media created a new landscape, Video Celts has certainly made an impact with Joe described as having an unhealthy obsession by Peter Lawwell at the 2024 Celtic AGM. A priceless endorsement.

There are issues breaking around the clock, no two days are the same. More than 50 years on from his first match Joe is enjoying the ongoing successes of Celtic.

    A Embarrassment to CELTIC….

    I still don’t get it…

Rather than attempting to find some middle ground with the support,

the Board has simply taken an even more belligerent stance.

And whilst the Board disregards the support, it definitely takes notice of the money.

    With every public statement,

the Board is wilfully reducing the club’s revenues around the busy Christmas period.

…and the half year financials to the City in February might be awkward for the Board… ?

The GB are far closer to the soul of our club than the overpaid suits that occupy our board.
    The GB give.
The mediocrity pursuants on the board take. Whilst being content with Best Old Firmist.
    The suits stunt our reach.

P.S. enjoyed your back & forth with the board enabler on last article. Keep on keeping on

Bloody Hell – Dixie Deans has passed away…

Slightly before ma time as a Celtic supporter but a great scorer for our beloved Hoops…

R.I.P. Dixie and deepest condolences to his family !
