Obsessed Ryan Stevenson has accused Chris Sutton of being a liar live on Radio Scotland.
The state broadcaster employs talents like Tom English, Alasdair Lamont, Kenny Macintyre, Steven Thompson and Billy Dodds.
But that is no excuse for giving a demented Jambo air time to rant and throw around damaging accusations.
Since Sutton is a regular on BBC 5 Live he will probably settle for a public apology and a promise from Stevenson that he will move on to other issues in his life.
STEVENSON- NOT THE BRIGHTEST
It is safe to say that the heavily tattooed Stevenson isn’t the most intelligent guy to play football. Which helps open doors at BBC Scotland.
Even in an era where Cammy Bell, Kris Boyd, Andy Halliday and Steven Naismith are paid for their opinions Stevenson stands out.
Coming from Ayrshire he seems to be under the impression that everything at Ibrox has a parallel at Celtic. Not the case.
At Ibrox fans take comfort from the masonic symbolism of seeing a manager wearing brown brogues.
They drool over seeing grown men slurping from an old vase at the start of the new year while toasting the health of sausage fingers.
Celtic has no equivalents.
After his Daily Record column highlighting the problem of green trainers, Stevenson was asked to discuss Nancy on BBC Sportsound last night.

Ahead of the Falkirk v Hearts match the former Jambos forward said:
I’ve spoke about the green trainers. Rangers and Celtic are institutions.
Russell Martin’s biggest mistake, and you might think I’m stupid saying it, was not wearing a suit and not wearing brown brogues.
To start off with, that was his biggest mistake. It just tumbled on.
I’ve been in dressing rooms with big personalities and big players but I’ve never had the opportunity to be in a Celtic changing room.
But I can just imagine sitting in the Celtic changing room with all the heritage and history and size of the club and the fan base, and then my manager walks in with a set of green Sambas on?
As soon as he walked in, I can guarantee you, can you imagine a manager walking into a dressing room of Chris Sutton, Henrik Larsson, Neil Lennon, Stan Petrov? He would have walked out and the boys would have been like ‘What is this?’
Chris Sutton is a liar (for suggesting it wouldn’t have bothered him).
Sutton couldn’t care less over the footwear worn by his manager. How he could pick up a win bonus was more important during his playing days.
Money remains a big motivator but approaching 10 years at the Record it maybe is time for the former Celtic striker to assess the company that he is being associated with.
BBC Scotland is entirely funded by the£13 a month licence. In midweek they had a panel of experts led by Steven Thompson in Budapest to provide radio commentary on Danny Rohl’s losers.
In contrast TNT had two commentators plus one touchline reporter on duty in Budapest for the defeat from Ferencvaros. Billy Dodds and Alan Hutton provided analysis from a London studio.
BBC Scotland could have provided the same quality of coverage from Pacific Quay in Glasgow.

No comment on wee bazza, driving to 1st day at work. In a borrowed ORANGE ford RANGER. we are more analytical about football
What you must try to understand is that The Rangers died in 2012!
And what you must believe is that The Rangers are alive and well and playing football.
Now, nothing makes any sense in Scottish football!
.stevenson is an absolute nobody .
He’s a Hun Orange order Bastard of the highest degree…
1) He’s from Ayrshire a very anti Celtic area of Scotland…
2) He says “Rangers” (Sic) v Celtic even though alphabetical order and us being the oldest club…
As I said a Hun of the highest order !
