  1. If we dont sign a striker in January, personally i will go back to just watching amateur football. Its a step too far.

  2. Striker and a right sided centre back are priority. Ralston was at fault for both goals yesterday and Meada continues to miss one on one’s.

  3. Having Nicholson and Tisdale in charge of calling the shots and them putting the man called Nancy tickle your fancy in charge of team matters, that’s like leaving an ALKIE in charge of a pub.
DISASTER written all over it,being 2-1 down after 6 minutes against Livi proved that,

  4. I can’t see us winning the league with this shambolic way we play at the back Livingston scoring two , no disrespect to them but teams with better strikers will destroy us , as for the window Nancy has fell into the boards way of thinking another yes man.

    1. You get what you pay for,a nickel&dime manager from the states soccer league and if he is lucky he might get the chance to bring in some nickel&dime players to match what he has regarding management skills.

  6. Good to see an actual football blog , over on CQN there’s someone who consistently posts music , WTAF&£K , we will sign a striker, but got a feeling, it will be low budget

  7. If we don’t sign a striker the board would be guilty of wilful mismanagement. There’s no world where that would be acceptable. Saying that, it’s our board so…

On the team, some of the attacking play is a joy to watch but we are going to get horsed by Euro sides with any semblance of organisation. Open is an understatement, we leave enough space for Bootes Void to move in.

  8. Auld PISHY at the daily sevco still running our club into the ground with snide digs at the manager, while still creaming his pants for Hearts to win the league.

Then you have Assgaard 1 goal in every 8 or 9 games bragging he’s on fire and the best has yet to come, must be some serious good smokes they are puffing over ivrox way,as well as whatever moonshine they are drinking.

  9. This Coach is the Celtic boards wet dream!!
Not bothered about signing players. Thinks every player can play any position he tells the player to play. No doubt will be ecstatic if the board bring in a couple of projects or some non descript journeyman or never was loan players.

  10. With a suspected, significant drop in merch and match day revenues,

?icholson’s priority could be to make up the shortfall in the window?

Sell Maeda (if he can) and bring in cheap signings and/or loans.

Might still be able to hit those targets to earn his full bonus this year…?

    1. I knew Nancy was going to be a yes man but his comments are beyond belief. The guy is clueless. We need to punt Yang, Engels, Ralston, Kenny, Scales and a few others.

  11. The board have said he’s getting two windows. Think you need to wait and see what happens.. if at the end of January there’s no new additions then you make up your mind and realise that the board have a yes man and people will decide what to do come renewal time, personally think he’s trying to protect an already low on confidence player in Kenny by not telling the media his plans . Also think Kenny and shin will be sent out on loan in January.

  12. There’s that photo again of the manager and the coaching staff sitting on the bench playing Connect 4 and Battleships,Operation will be next followed by Buckaroo.

  13. Nancy obviously is in it for the dough. He wouldn’t get what he’s on anywhere else. Obviously!
Roughly, since ten years, Celtic’s been in the UCL Group Stage c. five times. That’s five times forty mil’s two hundred mill! Then the sale of c. five players for twenty mills, that another hundred mills. Three hundred mills pure prophet, er profit (Tax notwithstanding Ho! Ho Ho!)!
Add on £1.25 mills gate money for each home game plus inclusion money (just for being in it), prize money, even before exclusion rights, hospitality scoops, that’s a heck of a lot of lolly pop money coming into the Club!
And that is only for the UCL!
Which perhaps explains why Mr. DD’s share has appreciated from c. £23 million to £99 million- if and when he decides to walk away!
Nice work if you … etc!
Merry Christmas to all the videocelts and a Happy New Year, when we pump the huns!
