Don Robertson is in line for a welcome Christmas bonus from his mate Willie Collum.
On Sunday the Glasgow based official will get a shift in on VAR duty while Kevin Clancy fumbles and stumbles through the League Cup Final.
After the 9-5 job on Monday Robertson will be in charge when Hibs visit Ibrox on Monday night. Two days, two payments in the run up to Christmas.
ROBERTSON BELONGS TO GLASGOW
It will be his third Ibrox appointment of the SPFL season, on top of four matches at Celtic Park.
For some reason it seems that the SFA prefer to have a Glasgow based official refereeing matches in his home city. A situation that wouldn’t be allowed in England or any other UEFA country.
Dundee and Edinburgh both host two clubs in the SPFL Premiership. So far this season Robertson has yet to be put in charge of any matches in those two cities.
He has had two matches at Pittodrie, on October 5 and 26- perhaps matching in with some hobbies or leisure activities in and around Aberdeen.

Last Wednesday Robertson was on VAR duty for the visit of Danny Rohl’s club to Tannadice.
No one watching will be surprised that he opted not to get involved in two penalty decisions made by David Dickinson.
UNUSUAL PATTERNS
Funnily enough Robertson was the referee in September when Hibs visited Glasgow, taking on Celtic.
David Gray’s side only had possession for 23% of the playing time yet were awarded 16 free kicks compared to just one against. It would be foolish of the Hibs boss to anticipate a similar pattern at Ibrox on Monday night.
In his first three Celtic Park appointments Robertson awarded Celtic 10 free kicks with their opponents getting 41 despite averaging just 24% possession.
For some reason, against Hearts Celtic were awarded 11 free kicks while conceding 9. Hearts had 28% possession of the ball. In that one match Celtic were awarded more free kicks than the combined total in his three previous appointments.
