Ross Desmond got a small taste of his own medicine last night as the full time whistle blew on another Celtic defeat.

With Brendan Rodgers gone and a manager appointed on the recommendation of Paul Tisdale all should be well at Celtic.

As a bonus the far corner of the stadium was empty.

The anti-establishment Green Brigade have been removed. Their three match ban has been upgraded to an indefinite ban.

Ross and his Daddy rolled up for the Europa League match against Roma to see how things were getting on.

It was a horrific night for the Celtic hierarchy.

Wilfried Nancy’s team on the park were clueless. Off it there was no vocal offering from the support other than the very occasional Sack The Board chant. Roma’s 2,500 fans were heard throughout the match.

It seems that Daddy made an early exit. When the TNT cameras turned to the Directors Box in the 83rd minute Celtic’s largest shareholder wasn’t present.

FRONT LINE PROTESTS

Ross was there for the final whistle. With Chris McKay, Michael Nicholson and Peter Lawwell to his right a sharp exit would have been difficult.

One fan in the Front Stand made sure the Ross knew his feelings, the feelings of many.

The sneer from Dermot’s rugby loving lad spoke volumes.

He will never recover from delivering that speech at the 2025 Celtic AGM.

On the morning of November 21 many fans thought that Ross could be the future of the club. A generation younger than his father who misplaced his trust in Lawwell then Nicholson.

With one angry speech at the AGM Ross destroyed that possibility. He is now as detested as the people that he sat alongside last night. There is no way back.

And worst of all Ross’s rugger pals know how he screwed it all up. They know that Celtic are a laughing stock of a club.

Ross Desmond could have reshaped and redirected Celtic. Instead he will forever be remembered for slamming his foot on the accelerator as Daddy’s soccer club headed for the cliff face.

Great piece, yet some on that boak news still sticking up for the board , Burnley 78 as usual sticking his nose in , and big view fay the hill , probably feeding all his refugees at the moment still to post his usual attacks on posters , he openly mocks a disabled guy about pip money, what a guy what a site

I have read a lot of comments against the GB along the lines of we don’t need them, we can sing and create the atmosphere. Really?

Where were all your voices last night because the only one’s I could hear coming through the TV were the away fans. Atmosphere like a damp squib. While I don’t always agree with the GB they were really missed last night.

Well done the board sitting there with your contemptuous looks on each of their greedy faces. Those that cannot see what they are doing to our club have blinkers on.
