SPFL bang the drum for league leader Danny Rohl

The Ibrox Tribute Act has the longest unbeaten record in the SPFL Premiership!

Danny Rohl is the prize guy with that honour as the SPFL try to shoe-horn some glory towards the fourth best in the country.

Unfortunately for Rohl his side trail Hearts and Celtic by nine points after 14 matches. Even the Gullible & Deluded recognise that the 25/26 title is beyond them.

DANNY 40%

The German hipster was third choice to replace Russell Martin. After 10 matches he has four wins to his CV, fortunately all of them are in the SPFL Premiership.

Alongside that there has been cup defeats from Brann Bergen, Roma and Celtic. Back to back draws with Falkirk and Dundee United have brought the honeymoon to an end.

As things stand Motherwell are above Rohl’s side. Hibs and Falkirk are within one win of overtaking them.

Between now and January 10 they have away matches at Kilmarnock, Hearts, Celtic and Aberdeen.

Across social media Ibrox fans are getting back towards the levels of anger they had for Russell Martin.

FALL GUYS

Getting rid of Paddy Stewart and Kev Thelwell has rid the support of two obvious targets.

Now they are basically left with the dross on the park. It has now reached the stage where none of the summer signings are deemed competent.

Most fans would cut short the loan deals in January if there is away out.

The January transfer window looks like being some laugh. Especially if Oscar Cortes, Ben Davies, Ross McCausland and Jose Cifuentes are returned from their loan clubs.

Bears genuinely expect a substantial spend in January, after a net spend of £20m in the summer they should be preparing for further disappointment.

On the plus side Kieran Dowell and Rabbi Matondo will be out of contract in May.

Joe McHugh has edited Video Celts since 2010, every day covering events in and around Scotland's most successful club.

When a six year stretch at the Sunday Mirror came to an end it was clear that the future was digital, print had ran its race.

Smart phones and social media created a new landscape, Video Celts has certainly made an impact with Joe described as having an unhealthy obsession by Peter Lawwell at the 2024 Celtic AGM. A priceless endorsement.

There are issues breaking around the clock, no two days are the same. More than 50 years on from his first match Joe is enjoying the ongoing successes of Celtic.

We should welcome column inches like that
If that’s what they are reduced to, finding solace and celebrating in stats like that, then we all know, and so do they, that they aren’t just scraping the bottom of the barrel, they are under the barrel, buried in a wee hole, 4ft deep.

Yes , but the tribute act have referees and VAR poodles on side , having their back , especially with arm and hand balls in the box ..no penalty ..no need to look again . It’s all under control …gripping stuff ! And the merry go round continues on ..and on ..and on …
