The Celtic Collective has brilliantly responded to Ross Desmond.
The son of a billionaire brought the 2025 AGM to a sudden halt with a blistering attack on the shareholders and supporters at large.
Chairman Peter Lawwell intervened in mid flow. Who knows what other attack lines Desmond Junior had to offer.
FATHER AND SON
It was the first time many fans had heard from Ross. Most that were present will hope that they never hear from him again.
Since his angry speech Ross has decided against attending the matches at St Mirren, Feyenoord and Hibs. His Dad hasn’t been there either.
A few thousand fans have been at each of those matches. As someone once said ‘they are there and they’re always there’.
Since formation in 2006 the Green Brigade has had charity at the fore. Soon after formation food banks became a thing.
Against Hearts on Sunday the Green Brigade will hold their annual food bank collection. It has the full backing of the Celtic Fans Collective.

Sunday’s food bank collection is likely to be the biggest in years. Food banks across the west of Scotland will benefit. From the efforts of ordinary fans, the ones attacked in Desmond’s AGM speech.
THE HISTORY
Hard work and organisation go into these events, they don’t just happen. It requires a lot of organisation, man hours, volunteers. In the same spirit as Celtic were founded in 1887.
Every year the Green Brigade and others put in the effort and hours to help others. Currently they are on a three match ban from Celtic Park.
Three hundred fans sanctioned on the basis of one video clip. Four fans charged, charged not convicted.
After the Hearts match the three match ban ends, it remains to be seen if the Green Brigade are allowed to use their tickets for the match against Roma.
Last year Celtic paid £11.5m to HMRC in Corporation Tax. The result of bringing in more money than the Board of Directors know what to do with.
Always felt proud that fellow Irishmen were major shareholders in our club now they are an embarrassment, wish they would just go away.
Is that 5 managers inside 2 years they have through, and yet the ARSEHOLES in media are still licking the ARSE right off sevco.
Any other club they would be getting run into the ground wuth the word CRISIS being branded about and broken CRESTS,but no everything is nice and ROSIE in the sevco garden.
I’m one of the Irishmen that has been traveling over for more than 30 years to see my club . my daughter has come with me on the last 2 trips , she is 18 and was blown away with the Green Brigade , the energy the passion that they display is simply out of this world , my daughter has never stopped talking to her friends about her experience since .
The other good news i can speak of is that toss desmond has no interest in Celtic , he’s waiting for daddy des to meet saint peter in the sky and he’s out of Celtic , gone !!
Aye and £11.75 million to a Butchers Apron loving witch that lied to the public about finances…
Her and Daddy might get on well but he’ll be a Tory Bastard these days…
Still Butchers Apron loving bastards all the same the two of them…
C’mon SCOTTISH SINN FEIN !
“,,,,,the result of bringing in more money than the Celtic Board know what to do with.“
I fear you’re wrong on that statement. The Celtic Board know full well where that money should go and have known for most of PL’s tenure at the Club.
This course of action is not due to incompetence or ignorance, it’s deliberate ‘Policy’.
Dividends for DD and others and SFA for the team and fans. Keeps Sevco relevant but just behind us. Got to give the ORCS that that tiny glimmer of hope that keeps them burning the Bloo £££’s in the local economy.
