Nicky Raskin transfer Bingo has been relaunched in time for January.
It seems that an impressive performance away to Kilmarnock was enough to kick it off with a familiar name ‘keeping tabs’ on the Belgian ace.
The Sun gleefully claims:
The 24-year-old is back in the limelight, with just weeks before the winter transfer window opens.
Raskin is reportedly a target for Besiktas once again.
According to fresh reports out of Turkey, Besiktas have already made contact with Rangers about the midfielder ahead of their window opening on January 4.
Apparently it will require a bid of £15m to get Raskin’s current club into negotiations.
Safe to say that the former Standard Liege midfielder won’t be going anywhere next month.
The source of the story is a Turkish You Tuber.
£15m is mad when you consider that you could get a far, far better player in Cammy Devlin for £500,000.

B FOR BESIKTAS
Besiktas are constantly linked with Ibrox flops. They sold Ridvan Yilmaz to Ibrox for £5m in August 2022 and were linked with signing him back ever since. In August Yilmaz returned to Besiktas for an undisclosed fee.
Since returning to Besiktas Yilmaz has played 635 minutes of football, the equivalent of seven full matches.
Since moving to Ibrox in January 2023 Raskin has won absolutely nothing.
His partnership with Todd Cantwell was tipped to conquer Europe but reality kicked in as Celtic crushed Micky Beale and Phil Clement.
DEJA VU
Twice a season Raskin strings together a couple of competent appearances and is instantly linked with a transfer. Spurs and Aston Villa were preparing £25m bids during the summer. Neither club actually made a bid.
It is also echoes of Alfredo Morelos and Ryan Kent. Both were £20m stars yet left as free agents in the summer of 2023. Neither has been able to play regularly since quitting Ibrox. Some Ibrox fans are hoping that Kent can return in January, again he is available as a free agent.
With no winners medals and no Champions League football there is virtually no genuine interest in Raskin or anyone else at Ibrox.
After a net spend of £20m during the summer there is unlikely to be much of a budget for Danny Rohl next month.
Shifting flops will be the priority for a club without a CEO or Director of Football.

What, no Lille “eyeing up” Raskin nonsense in the SMSM?
To be fair, I don’t think we can slag off the ibrox club about its transfer activity,
or any other club for that matter?
IF our Board has any sense,
they’d send out a clear message by announcing a signing or two
– on day one of the transfer window, or even BEFORE the transfer window even opens,
as they did when Ange was manager.
Clear support for the new manager.
…which means they’ll still probably be scrabbling about for loan players
on the last day of the window, as per. 🙁
Editor: It is possible to criticise the hopeless Executive management of two clubs at the same time.
The best they can hope for is a loan move for midgets midget with wee man syndrome, should the loan be fruitful, then they might get a reasonable offer for Jimmy Krankie,£5 million at a push.
Ah Transfer lingo, bingo has started once again then…
All pathological lies…
But the gullibilly’s will push the sales through the roof now no doubt…
The fools, The fools, The fools !
I think if you’ve seen Raskin play and read the next bit properly it’ll all become clear.
“According to fresh reports out of Turkey……”
It’s actually “According to fresh reports out of a turkey……”
Birdshit springs to mind!
BTW, if Jamieson has now openly joined the ranks of the PLC against Celtic supporters, as he no doubt did years ago, then Celtic supporters globally must get their act together.
This is f***ng war, and the gloves really need to come off.
We’ve got to be open and savvy about this with our supporters ready to move into action.
Every time any member of that board is seen in public anywhere, including entering CP and various golf courses, it has to be reported within our support and broadcast rapidly so that supporters in the vicinity can loudly congregate and call them out. As PLC directors have also been known to give out names and addresses of members of our support then the names and addresses of all board members should be made available to our wider support.
Peaceful protests can then follow until the current shower have nowhere to hide. Knocking on doors asking for contributions of food and money for foodbanks in and around the leafy suburbs would go down a treat and help some poor deserving ‘souls’ who find themselves in need.
Barring acts of violence against the board, nothing should be off the menu and I’m sure our supporters have some of the most fertile minds on the planet when it comes to fighting an unjust and reprehensible board or scum of that ilk. And Police Scotland will back them all the way. They won’t give in easily and won’t be bothered by waving wee red bits of paper at them. We need to fight fire with fire.
I read the recent thing from the Celtic Fans Collective (Overview of Meeting on Fairhurst Inquiry and Policing Operation and the CFC, who already represent around 400 fans groups were only allowed ONE representative at the meeting with the PLC and Police Scotland.)
An absolute outrage and one very well handled by PQ for the CFC but they’re just kicking sand in our faces. I think we’re wasting our time without radical, organised action some of which I’ve outlined above.
Come on Bhoys, let’s let the PLC know that enough is enough and chase them. All of them.
