Sky Sports decided to virtually ignore one of the main incidents at Tynecastle yesterday.
Viewers watching Celtic’s opening goal noticed Derek McInnes involved with the Celtic staff as they celebrated the opening goal from Ben Nygren.

After almost five years, a stat helpfully highlighted by Sky Sports, the Celtic bench were entitled to celebrate scoring directly from a free kick.
Clearly McInnes was upset by something. Engels cupped one ear and ran directly towards his own dug-out. Possibly in recognition of a training ground move paying off. Away from home, in the first ten minutes, in atop of the table match.
Sky Sports decided against showing any replays, no other angles were offered to explain why one manager was in the opposing technical area.

The post match interview with McInnes was pointless. A token reference, a smirking reply and no follow up. Exactly what Celtic fans expect from Scottish media outlets.
On December 7 Sky Sports showed an almost obsession with the Celtic technical area, rightly so.
Wilfried Nancy thought that it was a good idea to take a tactical board into the dug out on his Celtic debut.
Callum McGregor was regularly called over during the second half with the game explained using red and blue markers.
THE AGENDA SETTING SKY CAMERAS
It was humiliating for Celtic fans. Sky Sports revelled in it.
Such was their attention to detail that they also picked out Paul Tisdale in the stand having a quick nap.
At Tynecastle there was virtually no focus on the refereeing of Steven McLean. No mention of his backgro, und, nothing on the fact that his brother Brian was a reserve player at Rangers.
How curios, in the EPL they’d be all over such a quirky story. Not that the FA would ever allow it to happen.
Yesterday they showed a real lack of interest in a flashpoint.
Normally the sort of scene that they revel in and create a story out of.
Celtic fans know the reasons why.

Why wasnt Mcinnes booked or sent to the stand for being out of his technical area?
I’m more concerned about Celtic not being able to pass the ball to our own players’ feet from 10 yards ! How many times do this happen in the first half yesterday …causing incohesion of play and total amateur hour football ? What in the name of the small gentleman are they doing in practice at Lennoxtown for this to happen ?
Ball retention, Celtic inability to keep the ball was all the invitation the opposition needed. Where was our defensive midfield ? Without the ball we are very poor. No cover in front of defense.
Also going forward it is left to Scales and Trusty to carry the ball over the halfway lineinto opposition territory. Where are the ball carriers and creative influences ?
