They thrive on it, some suggest that they might even create it.
Strangely at Tynecastle they decided to body-swerve an incident that many viewers were talking about.
SKY SPORTS GO SHY ON MCINNES INCIDENT?
When Ben Nygren opened the scoring for Celtic Derek McInnes was inside the Celtic technical area before the goalscorer.
Arsene Wenger was famous for it. Sky lapped it up as the Arsenal boss went toe to toe with Alex Ferguson, Jose Mourinho, Sam Allardyce and others.
Within the first 10 minutes McInnes was inside the Celtic technical area, led away by the Fourth Official.
Sky didn’t replay the incident, they didn’t look for other angles.
Sky does extensively cover the SPFL Premiership. In December they were able to pick up on Paul Tisdale having a sleep when Hearts visited Celtic Park.
The fact he’s managed to wind McInnes up with something then when he storms up to him raging Fozzy just pies him and keeps laughing ?

In their post-match interview Sky Sports did ask McInnes one question about the incident. Clearly prepared for it the Hearts boss referenced an inexperienced Celtic coach. Next question, no detail, no follow up.
The incident has bubbled on. McInnes spoke about it in midweek, Martin O’Neill touched on it.
MEDIA FOLLOW UP
On Friday McInnes told the media that Mark Fotheringham had phoned him on Monday to apologise. It is rare for managers and coaches to make phone calls public.
Reporting Scotland on Friday picked up on the incident. Rather than just repeat claims they showed their footage. An unusual move by the state broadcaster.
McInnes should at least have been booked for going into the opposition technical area.
Just another example of the leniency that Steven McLean showed all afternoon to the home team.
Tonight Sky will be showing the Dundee United v Hearts match live, they have been trailing it with Lawrence Shankland as part of their coverage. There are rewards to be had for selective coverage.

Celtic had just scored and the only guy I can see pissed off at this is MC Innes who encroaches the Celtic tech area and dug out . Are we not supposed to celebrate a goal any more ! Am not one who generally advocates for vviolence but in this case am all for someone anyone there in the photo to lump one on that prich mcinnes.
