Wilfried Nancy has finally been questioned for turning Celtic into a shambles.
The Frenchman was delivering his usual deflection exercise and excuses after losing 3-1 in the Glasgow Derby.
Today Nancy highlighted losing goals from throw-ins. Every game the excuses change but not the outcomes.
THE DELUSIONS OF NANCY
Under Nancy Celtic have lost six out of eight matches. Wins over Aberdeen and Livingston are the exceptions.
Nancy talks as if he is trying to turn around a losing side. He has created that losing side.
He couldn’t have asked for a better handover. Martin O’Neill won six out of six domestic matches. In Europe he lost to Midtjylland but won away to Feyenoord.
Winning his first two matches would have taken Celtic into top place in the SPFL and lifted the League Cup. Nancy lost his first four matches.
Towards the end of today’s all-in media conference Nancy was finally questioned on how results have bombed under the Frenchman.
QUESTION:
Wilfried, you inherited a very good situation from Martin O’Neill and Shaun Maloney. Those players don’t appear to be the same players that are under your care. Would you not accept that that’s a bit of a problem for the rest of the season?
NANCY:
In terms of results, yes. I cannot deny that. After that, they struggle through certain moments. But they find a way to win. I cannot deny that.
So now, I think that small margins, because again, the first game against Hearts, if we win the game, if we score the goals, I think that it could be different. So now, this is the situation.
And when we lose, it could be difficult. But I know that my players are strong also to be able to win back.

NO SIGN OF A SACKING
There is absolutely no recognition from Nancy that he is the problem.
He came in and after two training sessions changed the formation entirely for a top of the table clash against Hearts. Celtic lost.
Every match he has played the same formation. With nine players racing forward Celtic carry a threat. Over 90 minutes only two teams have failed to pick Nancy’s team off.
Having had their confidence restored by O’Neill it has been completely emptied by the soccerball coach from Columbus Crew.
Three hours after the final whistle there is nothing to suggest that Celtic are about to sack Nancy.
Perhaps Dermot Desmond is negotiating a deal for Martin O’Neill to return, perhaps he is of a mind to let Nancy trash this season just as Neil Lennon did in season 2020/21.
Should Celtic fans boycott the home match v Dundee United?
YES- We have reached that stage
NO- Faithful through and through

I just woke up….is he still here?
No manager at any football club should survive 6 defeats in 8
End of story
Looked like a really really good protest at the front of the stadium today….
MORE & MORE & MORE & MORE & MORE & MORE & MORE & MORE or that please !!!
I really feel so?y for the guy.
He has been parachute into a team with no forwards.
Sure his tactics are awful but who appointed him.
It ultimately doesn’t matter if Nancy goes and the Board go if the next Board are going to follow exactly the same failed policies of not buying players early and not scouting better.
Watching the game on holiday, at half time I nearly went for a shower and a shave to go out and watch the second half! Thank F I never. Absolute shocking. Big changes needed, does anyone have the BAUBLES?
Anyone got any thoughts on why the psychology of both the big Glasgow clubs is the polar opposite of each other?
Sevco will go to any lengths and spend any money they can lay their hands on to achieve success.
We seem to go to the same lengths to halt success and hoard money we can afford to spend.
It’s absolutely mind boggling.
It can only be one of two things, utter incompetence and negligence, or a deliberate destabilising of the club to maintain a competitive situation.
Because we sure as shit should be beyond the reach of any club in the SPL never mind Sevco for a long time to come based purely on financial advantage.
The whole thing is rotten and sinister in equal measure.
Yes Nancy is out of his depth but it’s whoever hired him has to carry the can, tisdale and Nicholson should be gone as well. This guy got offered the job ,was he going to turn it down of course not,who would? The whole thing is a shambles.

POST OF THE YEAR BUDDY !
Cheers bud, but the whole thing is sinister.
Ain’t no way any business is allowed to deteriorate like that unless there is an agenda or those at the helm are just useless.
I genuinely believe you could pick 10 random fans and put them on the board and such is the built in advantage we have just with capacity, they would find it hard to make a clusterfuck of it like these so called suits are doing.
Has to be deliberate.
I know this might sound daft in light of everything else but is there anybody who could show us how to set up for a fuckin throw in. Honestly our throw ins have been brutal for years. Also can some cunt tell kasper hes not an outfield player and to fuck off with his world cup willy passes ffs. Guys arrogance is on another level
Forget Nancy the board are our enemy.
C’mon Stevie…
Who employed him…
That said – Canny disagree – My God they absolutely ARE our enemy and bitter enemy at that !
I can’t believe the position we find ourselves in Joe. Sevco must be rubbing their hands. If they can get a couple of signings in the door they could very well win this league. Not something I envisaged a couple of weeks ago but something that could very well now come to fruition.
The next time they play us and Hearts it’ll be at Ibrox which is a huge advantage going forward. I can’t believe Nancy was allowed to take charge of the Glasgow Derby when the league was still salvageable. I honestly believed that Desmond would out the man after that debacle in Motherwell.
I now believe the league has gone yet Nancy remains in charge. The board are an absolute disgrace. They have turned us into a complete laughing stock. Something I’d never thought I’d see with all the cash reserves that we have at our disposal. My anger has turned to despair.
In answer to the poll in the article, Five of us walking home yesterday all decided boycott Dundee United game if Nancy is still in position, got into the pub and virtually every STH I spoke to said they weren’t going if Nancy was still in charge. The Collective won’t need to call a boycott, it’s just going to happen as long as we have this situation.
