Wilfried Nancy has claimed that We are really close to doing good things following Celtic’s 3-1 defeat in the Glasgow Derby.
Outside of the Celtic Directors Box no-one else inside the stadium would agree with the thoughts of the current Celtic manager.
The excuses, denial and gas lighting from Nancy are becoming as predictable as the defeats that he is leading Celtic into.
HANDOVER TO NANCY
After seven successive wins under Martin O’Neill Nancy has racked up six defeats alongside two victories since taking charge of Celtic.
The Frenchman was given the perfect handover. Win his first two matches and Celtic go top of the SPFL and lift the first trophy of the season.
Nancy blew it. And more.
Motherwell and Dundee United have recorded their first wins against Celtic in over a decade.
And still Nancy is in denial.
Things are turning. He can see positives signs. Improvements. He is only deluding himself, soon he will be as unemployable as Russell Martin.

Comments like those above drain any goodwill or sympathy for Nancy.
GASLIGHTING TO EXTREMES
He should realise that he is talking to knowledgeable Celtic fans, not just someone from Sky Sports.
Those fans have watched five trebles in the last decade, and also the horrific 20/21 season under Neil Lennon.
This season is looking very like that Lockdown campaign. Then it was Neil Lennon living in denial, deflecting himself from humiliating results.
At New Year 2021 Celtic were 18 points behind ahead of their jolly to Dubai. Within three months the manager and CEO had stepped down.
Celtic are likely to be six points adrift of Hearts at 5pm tonight, the SPFL title is not yet lost. It will be if Nancy remains as manager tomorrow morning.
For the first time in his life CEO Nicholson could demonstrate leadership skills.
Sack Nancy and have one achievement on his CV. Then he can resign to allow a proper CEO to salvage the mess created by Peter Lawwell’s less talented clone.

Well, 100% this manager is inept in every conceivable way but the players are spineless and lack the basic essentials of managing a game and reading the opponents. Lacking in physicality too which has been demonstrated far too often.
Get Nancy out and get those coaching staff out too. Strachan, Woods, etc. have been hangers on for way way too long. Sure, kick the board out but the players aren’t shielded from criticism by this continuing fiasco.
Even Lou Macari could beat Rangers with players like Andy Payton and Wayne Biggins at his disposal. How many players can’t remain composed and find simple passes is embarrassing for a side who are predominantly full international caps. Shocking.
Editor: The same players beat Feyenoord away on November 27, a competent manager beats the dross of the SPFL Premiership.
Agreed but it doesn’t explain why these same players can’t do it. Feyenoord was a fluke. I watched it and felt at the time that it was pretty shambolic despite the win. Competent players would have won that match easily today. ‘Rangers’ defence was wide open time after time in the first half.

Smith, o oneill, advocat and Rodgers were all only ever 3 games or a week away from being in crisis and they knew it. It brought an edge to them. Nancy talks as if we are fighting relegation.
Danny Rohl is on a roll and Celtic are in a hole. I think It is true that “we are nearly there”, but we did not start
from a despairingly low base when Wilf took over. Hold your heads up. Luke McCowan… no Hang-Dog attitude near the media. It is contagious. Players should avoid giving snippets to the media to help their mental recovery.
I thought we could win today, but Sevco came home with a wet sail. I begrudgingly say Sevco were too good,
The boards fault 100%
To many fans abusing the players,
The players are proven winners.
Come on CLACH that type of language is taboo even for you.
At one level it’s a product of immature schoolboy humour and at the nadir end of the spectrum it displays a
level of contempt and lack of sympathy for people who are, in the modern vernacular, physically and or mentally challenged.
Today really hurt but you could and can do much better.
Not against Hearts, St.Mirren, Dundee United, Motherwell and Sevco they most certainly weren’t Stevie !
