Celtic have teamed up with their friends at the Daily Record as they prepare to surrender seats at Ibrox.
According to Scottish Cup rules the away team is entitled to 20% of the tickets for matches in the competition.
With Ibrox having a capacity of 50,817 Celtic are entitled to 10,163 tickets for the Scottish Cup quarter-final tie.
CELTIC DO NOTHING OVER IBROX ASSAULTS
That would of course require a CEO with a level of incompetence rather than one who roles over to the Ibrox tune.
When full glass bottles are thrown at Matt O’Riley and Viljami Sinisalo you won’t hear even a whimper from Michael Nicholson.
When broken glass appears in Joe Hart’s goalmouth Nicholson says nothing. Likewise when a hospitality guest permanently disfigures a Celtic physio by throwing a glass.
Guess what Nicholson did when Arne Engels was struck by a missile as he prepared to take a corner. Yes, SFA.
Rather than do something meaningful Celtic have been briefing their partners at the Daily Record to prepare Celtic fans for disappointment.
Behind their paywall the Record claims:
Record Sport understands Celtic have yet to submit their demands but are poised to ask for the full amount.
And even if they can’t get the full tally, it could still lead to a return to packing out the 7000-capacity Broomloan Stand for the first time since 2018.
Celts want the full whack but there are NO guarantees they will automatically receive it as any plans will have to take into account safety and security measures with Police Scotland having to give the green light.
If the Police card is used as an excuse there is a simple solution.
If Celtic only get 7,500 tickets then the home fans only get 30,000 which maintains the 20% rule.
The EXCLUSIVE in the Record came from Michael Gannon who broke the news on November 14 that Celtic were in advanced talks to appoint Wilfried Nancy as manager
That was followed by six weeks of glowing profiling trying to portray the French fool as the next upcoming manager.
Nancy lasted 33 days, inflicting six defeats on Celtic from eight matches.
Tomorrow Celtic will put on a separate media conference from Martin O’Neill for their newspaper partners.
The hoops boss will be questioned about the ticket allocation while Nicholson hides in a cupboard texting his mentor.
Will Michael Nicholson secure 20% of tickets for Celtic fans at Ibrox?
YES- Don't doubt our mighty leader
NO- Expect capitulation from the mouse

Still waiting in anticipation for those Interims…

The very same daily Record who’s scoops were relaying to their dozens of readers that Sir Rod Stewart was talking garbage when he said Scottish referees should do like the english refs are required to do and declare which club/ clumpany they support ..all in the name of fairness and honesty ! Big Gammon and the Gav ( Partick Thistle fan , ahem ) stoap laughing at the back , , went as far as to say Scottish referees and VAR poodles would never put their reputations and standing in the game in doubt by donating favourable decisions to their ‘ team ‘ of choice ? Oh really ! Obviously these 2 scoops are not up to speed with current Scottish football events ?
