The social media team at Livingston did Scottish football a favour yesterday with their coverage of the 2-2 draw against Danny Rohl’s side.
Fans of every Premiership club know that if they are ahead or drawing with the Ibrox side they are in for a long afternoon or evening.
When Dundee United were leading 2-1 on December 3 David Dickinson added eight minutes of stoppage time with Nedim Bajrami equalising with a penalty in the 99th minute.
On February 1 away to Hibs the match was goal-less. Matthew MacDermid added on seven second half minutes but there was no breakthrough. Another two points lost.
EXTRA EXTRA TIME
Ten days later at Motherwell Stephen Welsh scored a dramatic 87th minute equaliser. Ten man Motherwell still had another 10 minutes to go on Steven McLean’s watch.
And then of course there was the Rugby Park outrage as Celtic scored a winning goal in the 97th minute.
Up the M77 Kris Boyd was in meltdown mode.
It was a scandal declared the Sky Sports expert.
Play Until Celtic Score he claimed with the legacy media outlets happy to run with that knockabout story.
Truth be told there should have been at least 10 extra minutes at Kilmarnock if Duncan Nicolson had did his job properly.
And then onto Livingston for Boyd, alongside his echo chamber Andy Halliday.
90’ An absolute fantasy 9 minutes have been added on.

Ryan Lee was in charge of yesterday’s match.
Fresh from the Celtic v Dundee Scottish Cup tie. When Tomas Cvancara was fouled in the penalty box with Celtic getting a free kick almost a yard outside the box.
When Kieran Tierney took a boot directly in the face with his opponents only getting a yellow card.
LIVINGSTON SURVIVE 12 EXTRA MINUTES
Lee indicated for nine extra minutes at Livingston with the home team reduced to 10 men in the 60th minute after Douglas Ross missed an offside call.
And on it went. On and on. The clock was past 102 minutes when the referee blew his final whistle.
In four away matches since the start of December when Rohl’s side were behind or level in the 90th minute a minimum of seven minutes added time has been played.
Not that Sky Sports will be highlighting that sort of uncomfortable truth.
NO PENALTY RANGERS.

Where is Boyd & his faux outrage now?!
We , fans , should be highlighting this ‘ corruption ‘ continuously . It’s got to be highlighted , on every blog . Thanks Joe .
Let’s not forget the 4 mins added time against Hearts at half time that turned into 9 mins….
Or the 5 mins added against Queens that turned into 9 mins AND a pen award to save their embarrassment that they missed.
Why o why are these false narratives not called out?
Well I suppose that’s easy to answer, we have no allies in the media, and the ones we do have mind their p&q’s to keep the gig.
Cheats back then… Cheats now… Cheats for eternity !
