The truth about Brian Wilson was revealed in a tweet last night from Celtic North Curve.
The interim Chairman has recently been going out of his way to bring unity to the club.
Unity was destroyed by Peter Lawwell and Michael Nicholson while Wilson sat on the board as a Non Executive Director watching Celtic tread water.
Domestic all was grand thanks to the efforts of Brendan Rodgers and Ange Postecoglou.
Europe, where you need some strategy and ambition has been an absolute disaster.
With the exception of season 24/25 during which Nicholson stepped up to undermine the ambitions of Rodgers to make Celtic relevant.
Now, without Rodgers the club is falling apart.
WILSON SENT OUT TO PLACATE THE ANTI-ESTABLISHMENT FANS
The debate is whether it is through incompetence or self sabotage.
To deflect from that Wilson has been sent out to hold talks about talks.
To take things on board, to discuss ongoing reviews, hint at boardroom changes and do absolutely nothing.
Wilson has no authority at Celtic. He can report back to Michael Nicholson who if he is feeling brave will send an email to the Caribbean then hide under his desk in case he gets a reply.
On February 18 Wilson told the Celtic Fans Collective that talks with the Green Brigade were ongoing.
On February 25 the Green Brigade brought things upto date with the real situation. Confirming all that you ever suspected about politicians.
Despite the commitment made here to continue dialogue with the the Green Brigade, there has been no update from the club since the meeting on 12th Feb & two Green Brigade emails since then have had no response.

Wilson met with the Green Brigade on February12, a week before he sat down with the Collective, the Green Brigade is represented in the Collective.
The meeting with the Collective ran from 3-5pm on Wednesday February 18.
That night the Collective held a conference call at 8pm to report back on how the talks went.
At 8.10pm Wilson made a phone call to someone in the Green Brigade, briefly throwing the discussion off course. That call provided the illusion of ongoing dialogue. Illusions are something that Wilson specialises in.
The Green Brigade have sent Wilson two emails since their meeting on February 12. Neither has been acknowledged or replied to.
Wilson was a cabinet colleague of Peter Mandelson in Tony Blair’s Labour Government.

The Enron guys in the boardroom are just kicking the can down the road. They don’t have the cojones or integrity to even attempt to remedy this situation.
Wilson should be viewed for what he is, career politician, ergo a master at talking loud saying nothing.
The board are not acting in good faith so everything’s just a delaying tactic, basically wasting everyone’s time (apart from a few flunkies on CQN ??).
Dermot & the Jersey Shrinkers.
Wilson has that unforgiving, uncaring ,hard nosed , look about him… permanently ? He looks like someone who if you asked him for a few pennies for a bottle of water as you were living on the streets , would give you a 20 minute lecture and try to fine you £50 pounds for being impertinent…if he could ? He has that ‘ blue nose ‘ look to his entire boat and I don’t mean the boozer’s Duke of Montrose !
…and the Board will [grudgingly] throw a bone to the support,
just before ST renewal notices go out…? 🙁
“Sent out to hold talks about having talks” lol…perfect.
Canny see The Green Brigade back as long as Lucan is there !
