Celtic have yet to agree a ticket deal for their Scottish Cup clash at Ibrox.
The draw for the quarter-finals was made on February 8 with the tie to be played on March 8.
Premier Sports will show the match live but the two competing clubs have still to agree on the ticket split.
SFA rules allow the visiting team to claim 20% of the available tickets.
CUTTING THE IBROX TICKET DEAL
With Ibrox having a capacity of 51,000 Celtic are entitled to claim just over 10,000 of the tickets.
The hoops have been given 2,000 tickets for the SPFL clash on March 1, a deal that has taken years to negotiate.
Away allocations varied between zero and 800 for a couple of seasons before agreement was reached on what is refereed to as the European allocation.
Other than announcing the date of the match there has been very little communications from the clubs about the Scottish Cup tie.
Ultimately the SFA can step in and impose a deal but it seems that both clubs have been pointed towards an old agreement.
This afternoon The Sun reports:
SunSport understands that there was a strong indication from the SFA that they needed the two teams to reach an agreement to avoid a long, drawn-out dispute that would have been referred to the compliance officer.
And that could have seen Celtic given an even GREATER allocation, perhaps a full 10,000.
We also understand that both clubs were encouraged to revert to the so-called ‘old’ allocation and that similar arrangements will be in place for Rangers fans should the teams be drawn against one another in the Scottish Cup at Parkhead in the future.
It will see a return to the traditional set-up at Glasgow derby matches where travelling fans were given around 7,000 briefs for away games at either club’s stadium.
Less than 10,000 sees the Celtic board lose faith with fans, if Celtic get their full entitlement then a lot of Ibrox Season Ticket holders will be left on the outside looking in.
There seems no obvious compromise position with both sets of fans entrenched in their views.
With Season Tickets for 26/27 about to be launched neither club wants to be seen to be selling their fans short.
Celtic fans are paying £56 for the SPFL clash, the price of the Scottish Cup tickets also has to be agreed between the clubs.
The Scottish Cup tie will be played to a finish, there is no option of a replay. That fixture marks the end of a testing run of four matches for Martin O’Neill’s side that includes trips to Stuttgart and Aberdeen over 10 days.
If the ‘shoe was on the other foot’, that shower would be screaming for a full 20% ‘entitlement’ and therefore we should be insisting on 20% for our supporters for the help it gives our team in that poisonous shithole.

Now it has been confirmed that Celtic have 7500 it has been conveniently ignored by The Laptop Loyal and the Celtic Board that, then by definition and the rules already laid down, that the capacity for the game should be limited to 37,500. Another defeat by Mute Mike and the Sad Old Duffers of the Celtic Board.
