After a few technical issues on Monday, not involving Belgian or German tax laws, or failed medicals, the Trinity Tims podcast will be back tonight at 6.30pm.
Monday turned out to be entirely predictable as Celtic pretended that they were all in on improving the team.
Medicals were carried out on Sunday. Around 6pm Junior Adamu was announced- on loan.
As the window was closing ‘Celtic were delighted to announce the signing of Ben Arthur from Brentford’. On loan. Someone that hasn’t played a minute of league football. Less experienced than Jahmai Simpson Pussey.
Then to top it all off, after failing his medical Celtic were delighted to announce the signing of Joel Mvuka.
NICHOLSON FAILS AGAIN
Not Another Penny spent. Five loan deals completed during January as the rebuild required in the summer grew bigger.
Exactly what you expect from a club that has Michael Nicholson as their leader.
The world class CEO got it tight on the Trinity Tims podcast as we prepared for the transfer window closing. James Forrest of the Celtic Blog was especially critical of the so-called leading sports lawyer that has been draining a salary for more than a decade.
As ever it all falls on Martin O’Neill to keep the show on the road.
To cover up for the multiple failings in the club structure. Just as Ange Postecoglou and Brendan Rodgers did.
Since the podcast O’Neill has delivered two more victories.
Against Utrecht to deliver a Europa League Round of 16 Play Off and a win over Falkirk to keep the SPFL challenge flickering.
All of the Celtic eggs are in the O’Neill basket.
With Shaun Maloney and Mark Fotheringham the 73-year-old has to navigate through until the end of the season. The odds are substantial but there is no one better placed to guide the team while every aspect of the club is exposed as sub-standard.
Whether that is down to incompetence or sabotage is up for each individual fan to decide on.
You could be forgiven for thinking the Celtic board have given up the ghost on winning the league and automatically qualify for the CL with a bounty of over £40 million sovs as reward , going by the underwhelming Winterland window ? Could it be the ‘greys ‘ somehow know the outcome of this year’s league champions is pre ordained and it is pointless trying to win the title as the tribute act receives every assistance to win , every game . Referees and VAR poodles have read the memo and certainly are doing their bit and more to help them be successful ! If you need proof about the assistance from match officials and their puppies doing their duty …last night’s Ibroxland game should convince you ?
Celtic won’t even get involved in calling all that out. They are utter cowards, or …….?
Whatever it is down to, the Celtic supporters are being taken for the proverbial ride. Those of us in the majority who are wanting change are trying to do something about the mediocrity of the running of our club. The rest seem not to mind, or not to understand, that the money men are ripping them and the club off. This season, in my humble opinion, will bring Celtic to its knees, unless.the action by the Collective is successful. Those to blame are on the Board as well as Desmond and the silent minority who cannot put 2 and 2 together. The rest of the football world is becoming aware of this. It is only a matter of time and our sponsors will be wakening up as well.
Excellent Analysis!…
I see we made £2m on Oh from a sell on clause and still didn’t spend a penny.
Surprise Surprise there then Wee Jock !
