Barry Ferguson is expecting future Glasgow Derbies to be played in front of home fans only.
Since 2018 allocations for away fans has varied between 0 and 800 before a 5% agreement was struck halfway through last season.
On Sunday Celtic had 7,500 fans back in the Free Broomloan with the home fans unable to cope.
From the pre-match singing of Simply The Best through to Penny Arcade and Walk With Me almost an hour after the match ended the Celtic fans dominated the afternoon.
On the pitch Celtic won a penalty shoot-out 4-2 to leave the trophy hopes of the home side hanging by a thread.
Martin O’Neill outsmarted Danny Rohl in both cup competitions. On Sunday it was with a shadow squad after a grueling run of four away matches in 10 days.
MORE PAIN AND ANGUISH FOR FERGUSON
The culmination of those events proved to be too much for the home fans to cope with.
Singing and shouting their hatred for Catholics and Ireland for more than two hours wasn’t enough for some. They wanted on the pitch to indulge in violence.
Police and stewards were attacked.
Flares and bottles were thrown into the Free Broomloan. Celtic players and staff were attacked on the pitch.
Reflecting on the actions of the Ibrox supporters Ferguson told the Five Star podcast:
Well certainly none of our fans will be in.
You need to wait and see the statements from both clubs but if you’re asking me I think it will be 62,000 Celtic fans.
There will not be any fans in of your own which is disappointing.
You’ve still got to go to Celtic Park and Tynecastle, so you’ve still got some difficult fixtures coming up.
You can’t let your mind wander after a disappointing couple of weeks.
We just need to focus on what’s coming up at the weekend.
It wouldn’t bother me if they had a 100,000 fans at the stadium you just want to go and beat your rivals.
Celtic have yet to comment on the attacks on their fans and employees at Ibrox.
Michael Nicholson hasn’t been heard of since December 18 when he discussed the exciting transfer plans he had for Wilfried Nancy.
Video footage has shown crushing among Celtic fans trying to gain access to Ibrox.
The same route that accommodated 2,000 fans the previous week was used for 7,500 fans.
Celtic Security Chief Mark Hargreaves was involved in the arrangements and preparations to get fans in and out of Ibrox.

And no amount of ‘ tickly handshakes’ or ‘ secret words ‘ between Maxwell’s mob and Plod authorities can stop it either ! It’s gone way too far for those little ‘ nod and wink ‘ understandings to be of any influence. The next best thing is to squarely blame Celtic fans by everyone from the nodding dogs SMSM to politicians of an Ibroxland background with plenty of back ups in-between . Job done ….just watch how it all materialises ?
He was one of the causes to wot unfolded at the end of the game for a week or more him and his cohorts in the press were soaking the fkn nut jobs about making the place a no go area for celtic players and supporters,as for the celtic board wtf are they playing at nota peep nothing,,, wots it going to take for them to grow set,
I don’t know if you’re being facetious or not , but I do believe you are not very far from the truth . Who gains most with the ulynon display of certain flags ?
Non Display **
Lol Michael Pishinson the last time any C**T seen him Kojak had a heed full of hair,he’s lower than a snakes bellend that C**T .
Back now to wee Barry the simpleton quite surprised the media ain’t been doing a good bit of BOOTLICKING for him to be calked back as manager.
But the hurt and pain him and Kris (the studio klown)Void are in is such a joy to watch.
It won’t be to long now before they are both screaming like BANSHEES for a change of manager again.
As said above a good auld bit serious BOOTLICKING will set in soon.
Get in there Madman Mars, you tell em.
There is zero chance that the Huns on the PLC board will lock their fellow bears out of Celtic Park.
Hail Hail.
