Celtic are less than a month away from launching their biggest annual fund raiser- Season Ticket Renewals.
Money from Season Ticket sales is the bedrock of the club.
It provides the £17,000 a week paid directly to Michael Nicholson alongside the £10,000 a week going to the bank account of Michael Nicholson.
Over the last four years virtually no charm has been required with supporters renewing without question.
Even when the club removed the last of the perks when they dropped two additional matches from the package.
CELTIC- ROLL UP, ROLL UP
For the last two seasons the Season Ticket has provided access to 19 SPFL matches and nothing more.
In season 24/25 Season Ticket holders paid almost £200 more for five Champions League matches. Five domestic cup ties made it an expensive business to attend Celtic Park. The lucky ones also got four trips to Hampden.
At least supporters had something to cheer. Something worth watching compared to this season’s misery.
Football fortunes can come and go.
This season Celtic fans have had something different to ponder. Has it been self sabotage or simply incompetence.
Either answer will have thousands of fans questioning whether or not they should be spending another £700 for more of the same.
Quite interesting to look back at what the Club’s pitch was to prospective STH for this season. pic.twitter.com/yxBSKa7mUE

Generally an upbeat message from the manager accompanies the renewal message.
Martin O’Neill is a highly popular figure but it might be a step too far getting the 74-year-old to tell fans to trust the Celtic board to get things right.
In other circumstances the CEO would step in and lead from the front. Something that Nicholson has proven to be incapable of over almost five years.
Will be get Gerry McCulloch to script another cosy interview to show fans what a regular guy their CEO is?
Or will Celtic turn to the sneering aggression of McKay to get fans to cough up to pay his wages?
Chairman Brian Wilson is a possibility but could be too busy on the election campaign as the Red and Blue Tories battle it out for third place in the elections to the Scottish Parliament on May 7.

At the risk of “losing the seat” I would love to see an overwhelming majority to all ST holders refuse their ticket. It’s the only realistic way that change might happen otherwise it’s more of the same folks with ST holders blessing. Unfortunately I don’t see it happening
Maybe they’ll go for bob geldof, he’ll get the message over quickly with his JUST GIVE US YOUR FUCKING MONEY outburst.
Let’s face it , it is all this board wants from fans.
I won’t be renewing my ST or my son’s, it’s the only way to force change at CP . Hopefully a lot more people are doing the same and then we’ll see if they have this fabled waiting list. No more false promises or how they’ve learned from the past, it’s all a smokescreen to get your money. Don’t give them anything and then we’ll see what happens .
Good on you Stevie, it’s the only ‘real’ power us fans have. I gave mines up about 2018, as it was apparent even then to some of us, what the charlatans in charge were up to.
Well said Stevie c
My last season ticket was 2015 I refused to attend a league with sevco in it.
Cheating barstewards enabled by the Crltic board.
5 way agreement.
