Not only is Andy Cavenagh pouring in £16m but that sum will be topped up by a Rabbi Matondo windfall!
That is the EXCLUSIVE coming out of the Daily Record as the Welsh winger prepares to pick up his final Ibrox pay day.
Matondo has started 18 SPFL matches over his four seasons, being faster than Usain Bolt hasn’t been of much use away from the running track.
Even with a complete dud like Matondo the Record can find a silver lining.

With wages believed to be around £30,000 a week the Welshman will have drained at least £6m from the club by the time he leaves. Without counting bonus and loyalty payments.

Record Sport understands Rangers will allow the 25-year-old to leave for free but the deal will include potential bonuses and a hefty sell-on fee should Matondo move on again.
Matondo has yet to complete a medical at Brann, who hope to finalise the transfer before Norway’s deadline on Tuesday.
He’s expected to sign a deal lasting until the end of their season in November.
The reality is that Matondo is likely to be getting a pay off on the remainder of his Ibrox contract.
Signed from Schalke in August 2022 for around £3m he wasn’t coming to Scotland on reduced wages after moving to the Bundesliga in 2019 for a £9m fee.
While with Schalke he was loaned out to Stoke City and Cercle Brugge.
There is more chance of a sell on bonus coming into Ibrox from Nathan Patterson or Joe Aribo than a Matondo windfall from Brann Bergen.
Every transfer from Ibrox is accompanied by feel-good spin.
During the summer of 2024 it seemed that millions were crashing into the Ibrox bank balance.
Connor Goldston was sold to Aris Limassol for £1.5m, a similar fee took Sam Lammers to Utrecht. Apparently Blackburn paid £1m for Todd Cantwell, decent fees were collected for Scott Wright and Robbie McCrorie.
By the time that the club accounts were published the combined fee for those five stars was £810,000.
There is still no word out of Ibrox over a new contract or testimonial match for James Tavernier.
