Edmiston House meltdown as furious bears react to ‘penalty to Celtic’

One angry bear just couldn’t hold back as Celtic were awarded a late penalty at Ibrox.

Fortunately another bear was around to capture and share the magic moments.

At half time the question was how many. At full time it was how come.

From the moment John Beaton was forced over to the VAR monitor a nightmare started to unfold.

While most of the bears in the Edmiston House Sports Bar stood motionless one bear was in his own little version of hell.

Beaton had no option to look at the monitor. He had only one outcome open. He was suffering as much as his pals in the Crown Bar in Bellshill.

There was of course still some hope. There always is when Super Jack Butland is in goals.

Butland saved the penalty from Reo Hatate, he even saved the rebound. But third time around the ball was in the net as the fans in Edmiston House hit rock bottom.

Another team, another rebuild and another manager. Same old outcome. Some things never change.

The first half euphoria just made the return to reality all the more painful.

In the cold light of day, with nine matches left to play Hearts are six points clear.

Two weeks ago Hearts lost 4-2 at Ibrox with the home fans starting to arrange their title parties. Which ground would they be crowned champions at?

Tonight fourth place looks as likely as first.

Danny Rohl is starting to unravel in the same manner as Phil Clement. Questions are now being asked of the German boss. They are starting to review his time at Sheffield Wednesday.
