BBC Scotland decided to apply their own censorship to Celtic’s disallowed goal at Ibrox.
BBC License payers weren’t allowed a review of the decision to disallow a headed ‘goal’ from Daizen Maeda.
It was the only effort on goal from the away side. Typically Super Jack Butland panicked as he allowed the ball to trundle over the line.
Don Robertson and his assistant saw nothing wrong with the ‘goal’. The on field decision was to allow the goal to stand.
Andrew Dallas then sprung into action in the VAR room.
After around 90 seconds the ‘goal’ was disallowed. About 10 minutes later an image was released to broadcasters to justify the decision.
The evidence didn’t shed any light on the decision.
Two random lines were produced on an image at an angle that clarified nothing.
BBC SCOTLAND- STATE SPONSORSHIP
Fortunately for Dallas, Willie Collum and the SFA the state broadcaster decided not to review the incident and the evidence for disallowing the ‘goal’.
Fortunately social media provides balance against the official cover up.
There are fans out there that can uncover the FACTS!
Something that Dougie Donnelly and the editorial team at Sportscene would rather viewers didn’t get to judge.
@dougiedonnelly the “Clyde fan” can’t answer a simple question or give an opinion on a game outside Scottish football or even acknowledge the offside goal on sportscene for a “sports journalist” is pretty poor, so the shitebag has decided to join the BlockedYouRSC ??? pic.twitter.com/OiaFGCTjd1

There is a definite possibility of offside in the incident. Liam Scales is on his way back from an offside position when Luke McCowan crosses into the goalmouth.
It deserves investigation.
The image provided by VAR clarifies nothing. It barely attempts to clear things up.
If that is the best effort that Dallas can throw up to justify his decision it isn’t good enough. It is on a par with Alan Muir disallowing another ‘goal’ from Maeda a year ago away to Hibs. Muir hasn’t been seen again on VAR duty.
There is plenty for Sportscene to investigate and dig into.
Perhaps they know the conclusion which is the reason that they have turned a blind eye to an SFA cover up.
. @BBCSportScot stated on highlights programme that ‘no point analysing’ Maeda’s goal because Scales ‘obviously’ offside. SFA’s own diagram & lines zoomed in on shows Djiga playing Scales onside – shocker from Dallas! No wonder they didn’t want to analyse. The panel ????? pic.twitter.com/EWYAqkZoRv

This is why Sportscene did not want to show or discuss this perfectly good goal which was ruled offside. pic.twitter.com/Aa6Aa4Q20M

They also didn’t dwell on the pitch invasion by the klan with the excuse given,it’s an ongoing investigation at this time,so pictures of of the hundreds on the sevco fans on the park couldn’t be shown.
What about the two STONEWALL red cards ?
HH
Is there any Celtic supporter in Scotland that actually pays for BBC Scotland…
Tell you what…
If you actually do you’re a pure fu**in idiotic one for sure !
