Barry Ferguson has trashed the conspiracy claims made by Ally McCoist.
When Ferguson corrects you it really is time to pipe down.
Fun loving McCoist claimed on TalkSPORT that ‘they (Celtic) are running it up here man’ as he discussed the release of the final batch of SPFL Premiership fixtures.
Neither Alan Brazil or Gabby Agbonlahor followed up by asking their chubby colleague for some details on his claim.
McCoist like most bears has had a very rough time over the last 14 years.
Despite the consolation of extracting millions out of both clubs seeing Celtic winning 13 of the last 14 SPFL titles has been traumatic.
BARRY FERGUSON- THE VOICE OF REASON
All sorts of far fetched theories have been created by Ibrox fans to explain their lack of success.
Hanging onto the claim that they were the Most Successful Club in the World blew up spectacularly.
Scottish football fans know that the tainted trophy haul of Rangers ended in 2012. And that no-one comes close to the success of Real Madrid. Comparing Scottish League Cup wins against the European Cup is only for the hard of thinking.
Ferguson knows the level of stupidity among Ibrox fans but in the Daily Record he chose to discuss the facts and reality. Not the paranoia being pushed by McCoist:
Forget about all the talk and the noise and the suggestions that Rangers have been hard done to by the fixtures. I’m actually struggling to understand why anyone out there thinks for a second that it’s some kind of stitch up.
We always knew Rangers would be playing three away games and only two at Ibrox. So why was anyone surprised by it?
Ferguson added:
We all knew they’d have to go to Tynecastle and Parkhead. And these are the games that should excite any football player or supporter.
The only thing we were waiting to find out was the dates of the games as well as the other away ground Rangers would have to travel to.
Yes, that means they’ll have to go to Falkirk twice in the space of a few weeks but who cares?
If you’re going to win a league then you have to go and win games at difficult places – that’s the challenge that’s been thrown down and now these players now have to meet head on. No excuses. No complaints. Just get out there and do it.
When you are corrected by Ferguson it is time to have a deep think before going public with your own stupidity.
In March 2024 McCoist promised to commit Hate Crimes at a Glasgow Derby during another TalkSPORT rant.

Well there you go then Ferguson has got it right, still a broken clock gets it right twice a day , one more than wee bawwy.
Jeez – Even Fergushun embarrassing the scruff McCoist now !
