Danny Rohl has admitted that he has no idea when Ryan Naderi will be back in action.
The January signing from Hansa Rostock scored his first SPFL goal last Saturday in the win over Dundee United but was substituted at half-time.
Since Tuesday there has been WhatsApp messages going round that Naderi won’t play again this season.
Losing a one goal striker doesn’t seem like a big loss but Ibrox fans seem to rate the former Hansa Rostock man.
Not just the usual ‘£30m and we talk’ but as someone contributing to the team.
Putting in the graft while others like Youssef Chermiti score a few showpiece goals then hide for weeks on end.
Naderi was the first question at this morning’s media conference with Rohl admitting that it doesn’t look good for the striker.
We assessed him and, it’s a serious one. We don’t know when he’s back.
It’s a kind of muscle injury where we need to look at it week by week.
We have to re-scan him in two weeks and we will know more about how long.
The hope is always there (playing again this season) but we will have to wait two weeks.
Bojan Miovski has scored in the last two matches but plays a very different type of game to Nadiri.
Rohl has mainly had an injury free squad to work with but will be without left-back Tuur Rommens will miss Sunday’s match at Falkirk.
With Celtic and Hearts playing on Saturday there could be pressure on Rohl’s side as they prepare for Sunday’s match.
The post split fixtures mean that Rohl faces three of his next four matches away from home.
Trips to Tynecastle and Celtic Park will go a long way to deciding the season with expectations sky high that Rohl will deliver the second title in the club’s history.

Nobody bar nobody wants to see players injured save for all the retrobates on Wallow Wallow who suggest ‘break his fu**in legs’
It’s such a Sevco thing is that…
But they have been very lucky with injuries have Sevco…
Perhaps they just do their medicals better when they’re ‘buying’ players !
