On Friday Celtic presented Sebastian Tounekti for interview with their newspaper partners.
The Tunisian winger discussed his goal against Haiti who will be Scotland’s first World Cup opponents in June.
A nice space filler for the ailing Sunday newspapers and a sweetener to keep them away from the multiple issues concerning Celtic fans.
It is quite clear than in the three months since Wilfried Nancy was sacked that Celtic have made no progress at any level.
There is no sign of a permanent manager and no Director of Football to take over from Paul Tisdale.
CELTIC- A NORMAL CLUB?
In a normal club the CEO would be on the front foot. A normal club wouldn’t allow Michael Nicholson anywhere near authority.
Celtic’s CEO has squandered millions through Mark Lawwell, Tisdale and Nancy. And still Nicholson is taking £17,000 a week out of Celtic.
Having claimed that Nancy was his first choice as manager it seems that someone at the club isn’t allowed Nicholson to turn to number two on his managerial dossier.

Even the regular calls for unity from Brian Wilson appear to have fallen silent. Perhaps the interim Chairman has turned his attention to Labour’s Scottish election campaign.
On February 18 Wilson met with the Celtic Fans Collective and promised a follow up meeting within a month.
Since the Minutes of that meeting were published Wilson hasn’t made contact with the Collective.
Four weeks on from Celtic players and staff being attacked on the Ibrox pitch the SFA haven’t published any initial findings from their Enquiry.
With a Glasgow Derby to host in the post-split fixtures Celtic won’t be rocking the boat with demands for justice.
Meanwhile Celtic will be providing players for post match interviews following today’s match at Dundee.
Newspapers will soon be all in with Celtic’s Season Ticket Renewal campaign. Exciting names will be linked for the job of manager alongside speculation over signings. Fans can expect more of the same, think summer 2023 and 2025 signings.
While Nicholson hides in his office draining £17,000 a week for no visible product.
The absent landlord and his idiot son are the issue. We need rid of asap. They won’t sell up so the support need to be more inventive with ideas to succeed in removing them.

I don’t want any of them making a major decision that will effect the club after their departure in the summer.

Yes, DD and his boy are going nowhere.
So, nothing meaningful is going to change this summer,
– or any summer – whilst DD keeps pulling the strings from afar.
The club is being held hostage by a 35% shareholder! 🙁
