The SPFL will give their ruling tomorrow on the ticket row over the May 10 Glasgow Derby.
On April 24 Celtic published a Supporters Update that they had refused to provide an allocation of tickets to Scotland’s newest club.
That sparked a complaint to the SPFL who have set up a sub-committee to consider the issue.
Celtic’s decision came completely out of the blue as they meekly accepted the issues of March 8.
Following Celtic’s Scottish Cup victory players, staff and fans were assaulted by angry fans.
The SFA took no action, an independent review was announced which is a classic tactic.
Months later some soft conclusions will be published alongside the promise to learn lessons for the future.
Celtic’s update didn’t mention the Union Bears but referred to one section of the away support.
While the Union Bears were on the pitch attacking Celtic players, staff and fans they were not alone.
SPFL AND SFA ARE TOOTHLESS
Fans came out of three sides of the ground. Around 15 fans have been charged, many of them are in their forties. Clearly not members of the Union Bears.
Celtic’s unexpected decision has caused meltdown among Ibrox fans.
Today The Sun has provided an update:
An SPFL spokesperson said last week: “The SPFL Board will now appoint a sub-committee to consider Rangers’ request for a determination under SPFL Rule I27.”
And now the Scottish Sun has learned that league bosses will meet TOMORROW to rule on the matter.
It’s a major decision for the league – who WON’T be able to keep one of their biggest clubs happy no matter the outcome.
The SPFL decision isn’t binding.
Celtic have cited safety issues, that can’t be cleared by an SPFL committee.
Having raised the issue the Celtic board have set their stall out.
Backing down would be a horrific decision. Up there with almost every decision taken this season by Michael Nicholson.
Numerous attacks have been carried out on Celtic players in previous matches at Ibrox without any action from the club.
Last season Celtic launched their Season Ticket renewal campaign on April 23. On April 29 they have still to ask fans for next season’s money.
Celtic will host the first Glasgow Derby of the 26/27 season.

Let’s hope the SPFL board sub committee grow a pair and side with Celtic on this one, nobody wants them lowlife vermin anywhere near Celtic Park but i won’t be at all surprised see Huns getting full allocation because will all know Nicholson or any of Desmonds henchmen hasn’t a pair between them, regardless of decision our board will except it and roll out the red carpet for them horrible animals
