Thank Goodness for the Green Brigade.
Against St Mirren the Ultras group were back inside Celtic Park. Diagonally across from Bhoys as a glimmer of unity filtered into Celtic Park.
Brian Wilson is now working on his next blockbuster column about the SNP and Ferries.
Football is often decided on small margins.
Celtic put in a decent first half performance playing towards the end of the stadium housing the Green Brigade.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain scored after 15 minutes. After an injury to the St Mirren goalkeeper Celtic’s performance fell worryingly flat.
GREEN BRIGADE- MORE NEEDED THAN EVER
Perhaps the extra energy from the returned Green Brigade just about got Celtic over the line.
The second half was especially painful. For both teams.
Celtic seemed tired, unable to function. St Mirren just seemed incapable.
Another excruciating watch, but we kick on.

Substitutions were made but the pattern remained.
Strangely for the second match running Sebastian Tounekti was left as an unused substitute.
The winger hasn’t been the greatest but he certainly qualifies as an impact sub.
Celtic were crying out for something different. Fresh energy, a different challenge to the comfortable St Mirren defence.
At this stage of the season it is all about results. But there surely has to be some level of performance with that.
Celtic are dropping the bar worryingly low.
The one goal victories are piling up alongside the points.
The midweek fixtures are long over, only the injury list remains.
If Celtic are to lift the title this season everyone will need to give more.
There are five more SPFL obstacles, possibly two in the Scottish Cup. Every single match will be a huge challenge, there is little between Celtic and their opponents.
The Green Brigade are back doing their thing. Hopefully those on the pitch can carry out their part of the deal.

Brilliant to have the green brigade back Joe club need them bhoys now more then ever….
Can we finally dump the stupid Gaza flag. What an utter nonsense.
Editor: Does it upset you, any other flags causing you distress?
Will take the win but not a great performance !
