  1. Of course, Cavenagh [& his backers] didn’t buy control of sevco because he wanted to join the “We Are The People” nonsense.
He isn’t a soccerball supporter either.
It’s an investment for him and his backers.
…and an investment demands a return!

The risk for sevco is that Cavenagh reassesses his position and decides to cut his losses?
Might not happen now, next year or even the year after.
But, if he decides to get out, he won’t give a monkey’s who buys it.

[The average time period for a private equity investment to be flipped in the UK is 5
    years.]

And he could be selling to another investor[s], who is that bit further down the food chain.
Not a ‘Craig Whyte’ type, but someone [or group] who could ultimately run the ibrox club into the ground.

And the bears would just have to stand and watch / growl.

    …which would be nice! 🙂

  2. They also want £1.3 million for apparent damage to the stadium.

FFS. The entire shit hole is worth less than that.

    1. As Craig Whyte found out in 2012, Tony B, the whole place is worth the princely sum of £1.

      Hail Hail.

  3. Bob (original) @ 8.16pm…

Did you mention 1.47 because old St.Martin did ‘break’ their heart and have them snookered !

  4. Just spend more after the 42 million, quite the ” investment” nothing but throw money at the problem. Lost every year since 2012 and gods knows how many before all whist stiifing fans and creditors AND STILL they hope.

Fucking delusional does not go far enough
