After two months restraining himself David Tanner is on a full on Twitter meltdown.
His fury and anger at a Celtic fan blessing him-self on the pitch at Ibrox quickly went viral.
Seven years after being dumped by Sky Sports Tanner has always wanted to be a talking point. But not in these circumstances.
No where in the civilised world does a reporter require to broadcast live about someone blessing them-self.
It occurs in almost every football match, even at Ibrox when the home teams sends a substitute on.
Many of James Tavernier’s team-mates bless them-self when they enter the pitch at Ibrox.
After his live outrage on TalkSPORT about a fan blessing himself Tanner refused to answer questions about the issue on Twitter.
Every day fans were asking him what the problem was over such an everyday issue
An update from @Steven_Ward88:
‘I described what was happening during the worst crowd trouble for generations’
Mad that this guy has a gig teaching at @EdinburghNapier… must be the modules on ‘Avoiding Responsibility’ and ‘Covering for Lack of Journalistic Integrity’! ? https://t.co/9WmLt5XhSG pic.twitter.com/SVmhynI5Qr

It seems that the events in Manchester in May 2008 have either slipped Tanner’s mind or he thinks that Ibrox on March 8 was worse.
TANNER CAN’T HIDE HIS HURT AND DESPAIR AT CELTIC SUCCESS
He highlights three incidents in the worst crowd trouble for generations. One of them involved a fan blessing himself.
Tanner wisely body-swerved the aftermath of that match for almost three months.
Only he’ll know why he decided to double down this weekend.
All that he has done is confirm what many fans thought of him. Someone blessing them-self is on a par with throwing a bottle and squaring up to stewards.
There hasn’t been much from Tanner in recent weeks on TalkSPORT. Even with a surge in interest as the SPFL season came to a conclusion.
TalkSPORT appeal to a very specific demographic. A grouping that isn’t popular with the Scottish electorate. Jim White, Ally McCoist and Jason Cundy typify the station.
Tanner and that station are a perfect fit for each other. With his Twitter content revealing everything about Tanner’s values.

Whoever this guy is,
looks like he might have to ‘do a Nevin’?
…and drop off Twitter as an exposed ‘journalist ‘.
Oh dear at this rate wee Davie Spanner will end up in the looney bin before the start of the World Cup.
Him doing a Donald Trump,Nigel farage style of doubling down.
He must be really shit at his job because, in Scotland, frothing at the mouth bigotry and craven anti Celtic smears usually put you on the fast track to a long and successful career in the mainstream media on Planet Fitba.
David aka DTs is a bit of a halfwit, bless him..!
Mr insignificant.
How’s he gonna cope with The Liebrox Bitchetts Trophy room being bare naked this summer…
And how will Sportscene cope with no silverware being lifted by a team in blue for their opening credits next season…
Ach well – Maybe Scotland will win The World Cup !
I’m sure they’ll put up a Sevco Under 14 team that picked up something !
They’ll have to use a placebo of a team in blue with a trophy – footage of St Johnstone lifting the Championship trophy!
