Celtic opted out of announcing the departure of Luis Palma on X/Twitter.
Last week Lech Poznan announced that they had taken up an option on the winger’s contract on the back of a season long loan.
Typically there was no comment from Celtic.
Hardly surprising from a club where the CEO hasn’t been heard of since December 2025.
Michael Nicholson are far from alone with that stance.
Since winning the Scottish Cup on May 23 there has barely been a word come out of the club.
With some fans expecting a huge rebuild two weeks have been lost towards that rebuild.
At a club with no manager, an interim Chairman, no Head of Football Operations. Or most of the other roles associated with a modern football club.
CELTIC- A CLUB THAT WON’T COMMUNICATE
Social media ought to be a lifeline for a football club.
They can bypass traditional media and communicate directly to supporters. It also allows feedback, again something that a modern club should be grateful for.
As we know Celtic are far from a modern club.
The Kellys, Whites and CEO Terry Cassidy from the early nineties were more engaging than the current lot in power.
Celtic posted Luis palma leaving on Facebook an hour ago but total silence on this ?

Celtic finally make an announcement
They officially announced Luis Palma has left the club… but not on X

Palma was typical of the players signed up in the summer of 2023 by Mark Lawwell. No doubt a creative agent could put together a decent show-reel but more than that is required of a Celtic player.
Palma did have a short purple patch in the autumn of 2023 but was never a team player. It was all about him, cutting inside from the left and trying to add another goal to his collection.
By January 2024 he was eased out of the Starting XI.
It was no surprise that he went out on loan to Olympiakos and then Lech Poznan.
Today Celtic shared the news of his exit on Facebook and Instagram. But not Twitter/X.
There is still no news from the club on appointing a manager.
On Friday the Herald, Sun and Daily Record all carried a 5pm announcement that Martin O’Neill will be manager on a 12 month deal.
The Stock Market opened this morning, no announcement was made.
By the close of trading there was still nothing from the club.
Michael Nicholson is rumoured to be on holiday, whether anyone inside the club has noticed is up for debate.

“The Stock Market opened this morning, no announcement was made.”
Hmmm…?
Yet, the “Interim Management Appointment” was promptly announced back in January.
“Micheal Nicholson is rumoured to be on holiday”
That b*astard is on a PERMANENT fu**in holiday !
