One month on, three thousand miles away and Ally McCoist can’t get over Celtic’s thrilling SPFL title win.
As May evolved life got more and more difficult for the former Rangers boss, the man that led the club into liquidation.
On TNT Sport he was the cheeky chappy, everyone’s best pal. Especially if your name is Fletch
The gags flow, the matey patter, what a character he is.
The Real McCoist often turns up on TalkSPORT.
Whether it is fixture announcements or penalties being awarded for handball McCoist can’t hold back on his paranoia.
He detests Celtic. With every bone in his body.
A decade after walking out on his favourite Tribute Act Celtic’s domination doesn’t get any easier to cope with.
He’s allergic to the use of the name Celtic ??????????

All it took was the mention of Daizen Maeda to trigger fun-loving Coisty.
MCCOIST CAN’T HIDE HIS HURT
Playing for Japan against the Netherlands Maeda was unmistakable. All action, all industry, all over his opponents.
But for McCoist Maeda is his Worst Nightmare.
The forward that terrorised and demoralised James Tavernier.
The Hall of Famer watched Maeda scored two more goals in the Glasgow Derby on May 10.
Danny Rohl decided that enough was enough. A few minutes after the dramatic overhead kick it was time up forTav.
It was too much for the skipper. His huff lasted four days. He refused a place on the bench for his own farewell match. Fittingly it was another defeat against Hibs.
With huge pay days from ITV McCoist isn’t going to refuse co-commentary duty.
He will turn up for anything for a cheque. From Sports Direct to ITV and TNT Sport.
And Maeda from Scotland’s most successful ever club will always haunt McCoist.
With the very real prospect that Japan with Maeda are going to go deep into the World Cup Finals.
“So I am led to believe” said Sally when asked about Maeda’s scoring exploits at the end of the season.
Just a reminder that Ally McCoist is a wee fat Orange bastard. pic.twitter.com/O8lgKB5rUF

He looks like a f.ck.n tramp , get a wash ya orange bigot .
Tell yer Son if he’s involved in a road traffic accident he’s not to run away. Super Salary, Father Of The Hit n Run Driver.
There is only one thing more depressing than listening to Super Swally babble at the WC and that is seeing the incredible BST Gillette stadium in comparison to Hampden Park ! The national football stadium is a disgrace and has to be razed to the ground ASAP ! How any team is supposed to be influenced and inspired by a park and stadium unfit for purpose and totally obsolete like Hampden… is beyond me . If the authorities don’t recognise this as they attend the WC and state of the art Stadia compared to the ‘shit hole and a half ‘ embarrassment that is Hampden Park then the game is up..for good .
True, and the SFA being the SFA actually chose to buy Hampden:
it’s not even a football stadium, but an athletics stadium.
Hence the need for binoculars behind the goals…
The fat orange bastard would turn up for the opening of an envelope if there was an appearance fee involved.
Someone ought to tell the money grabbing kant that shrouds have no pockets (for steakbakes)……On second thoughts…………..
Can’t post it here but someone has designed a drinking game based on his cliche-ridden commentary. 9 choice phrases and each time one is used a shot must be consumed. Of course he is so hackneyed and repetitive that you will be legless by half time, but that kinda the point….
I’ll tell ye what, this is a very good, well observed comment, of course it is Fletch, of course it is! Cheers!!
I don’t mind telling you Fletch, that is a bruyyant reply. A bruyyant reply. Make no mistake about it.
Lol the best thing ever was to find out his gardener was his wife’s jockey when he was out the house.
Pleeeeeze tell me he won’t be involved in Scotland v Morocco or Scotland v Brazil – The only games I’ll be watching as I’m still (happily and joyously) emotionally drained from our season !
