According to Anthony Joseph of Sky Sports three EPL clubs are looking to sign Celtic midfielder Arne Engels.
Sunderland, Fulham and Nottingham Forest are all interested in the 22-year-old who was signed from Augsburg in August 2024.
Engels joined Celtic for a record transfer fee of £11m and went on to play an impressive role in the Champions League as Celtic reached the Round of 16 Play Off.
That is the sort of form that gets picked up outside of Scotland.
Forest were in for Engels at the end of January but Celtic refused to further weaken their squad.
With their EPL place secured Forest have resumed their interest but now face competition from Fulham and Sunderland.
At the age of 22 Engels is now very desirable.
He has experience of playing in the Bundesliga and Champions League with four winners medals from his time at Celtic.
UPDATE: Nottingham Forest, Sunderland and Fulham are all interested in Celtic midfielder Arne Engels this summer. #NFFC had a number of bids rejected for the Belgium international in the January transfer window – the final one being £25m on Deadline Day.

It is difficult to see Celtic resisting an offer of £25m for Engels.
With Reo Hatate requesting a transfer and Paulo Bernardo frozen out Celtic could find themselves short on midfield options.
Most fans are expecting Engels to be sold this summer. He is likely to be joined by Daizen Maeda, Hatate and others.
CELTIC FANS EXPECTING A SUMMER REBUILD
Supporters are looking for signs of a Celtic rebuild but 18 days after winning the Scottish Cup the issue of who will manage the club has still to be confirmed.
On June 5 at 5pm The Sun, Daily Record and Herald all reported that Martin O’Neill had agreed a 12 month deal to stay on.
So far there has been no confirmation of that decision.
Some significant dates are drawing closer.
Pre-season training begins on June 27 with the SPFL season starting on August 1/2.
Most importantly Celtic face a Champions League Play Off on August 18/19 and 25/26.
Celtic will be seeded for that tie but having failed in seven of their last nine attempts to qualify for the Champions League there are valid grounds for concern.

Desmond will be waiting for all the good players that are available for transfer, to be sold before he releases any transfer money.
Why else are we waiting.
Kerchin£,season book money is in,at least £25 million for Laura and whatever loose change for Maeda with the possible added bonus of champions league money from the group stages, those 3 above mentioned could total around £90 million alone.
And here’s the club still fannying around scratching their arse.
They will bring in a couple of loans plus spend 4 or 5 million each on players no one else wants at the end of the transfer window.
At the risk of being labelled ‘repetitive’, we need to unite our supporters and hunt every last one of them on the plc board, including DD the puppet-master and his idiot son, out of CP. Current tactics are not enough as they’re clearly not working.
HUNT THE BOARD AND THE DESMONDS. Publish their addresses and picket them. Gridlock their roads.
We need ACTION.
Come all you young rebels…….
