Celtic hammer Clydebank but it’s a secret

The Celtic B team enjoyed a very convincing 6-1 victory over Clydebank last night in the Lowland League West.

After losing 3-2 away to Beith Juniors on Saturday it was an impressive bounce back from the young Celts.

Not that you’d know about it on the official club media outlets.

The official X/Twitter account seems determined to give away as little information as possible. Perhaps they are considering a paid for option?

So much for Michael Nicholson and Brian Wilson kick starting a brave new era in communications.

Last night Celtic FCB Account tweeted the Celtic team, half time score and full time result.

Nothing today. The half time tweet named the goal-scorers with Celtic 2-0 in front. The full time tweet never bothered with adding the second half scorers.

It is the level of contempt for the young players and fans that has become the norm at every department inside Celtic Park. Laziness at every turn, doing the bare minimum.

Fortunately Clydebank’s Twitter account listed the Celtic scorers. They did disagree with one of the first half scorers, crediting Liam Kennedy with the opener.

According to the Bankies, Dargie’s double came in the 20th and 82nd minutes with a double from Clearie and Charlton being the other scorers.

UPDATE: It seems that Dargie did score twice in the first half with his goal in the 82nd minute making it a hat-trick.

The Celtic website offers very little information on the B team.

Rhys Dargie does have a profile on the page for the B team, three lines at least a year out of date but there is nothing on the other goal-scorers.

Not even Kennedy who caught the eye during the first team friendlies against Shelbourne and Sporting Lisbon.

There are however profiles on Filip Skorb and Robert Rachal, both of whom have announced on social media that they have left Celtic.

So far Celtic have yet to announce any Co-Operation partnerships with other SPFL clubs.

Three players can each go out on loan to clubs in the Championship, League One and League Two.

Last season Celtic only partnered with Ayr United, this season they have linked up with Dundee United.

Having a Professional Pathway Manager would help but that post has been vacant since Shaun Maloney was promoted in January.
