Celtic fans reacted sharply to news that the hoops have resurrected interest in Kasper Hogh.
A phrase as meaningless as keeping tabs and weighing up options.
Every Celtic fan knows that Hogh won’t be joining the hoops in the six remaining weeks of the transfer story.
The Hogh rumour surfaced less than 24 hours after the friendly against Middlesbrough was attended by around 8,000 Celtic fans.
David Friel, a former Celtic View reporter came up with the scoop aimed at soothing the worries and concerns of hoops fans.
THE MEDIA MESSENGERS OF CELTIC
It follows quickly on the heels of news in The Sun that ‘Celtic are ready to step up their interest in Egypt’s World Cup winger Haissem Hassan.’
Gareth Law covered Celtic’s trip to Portugal for The Sun last week which included daily access to players and a booze up with Martin O’Neill.
It seems that the baton has been passed to his Sun colleagues to distract Celtic fans from the multiple failings of every area of the club.
After years of watching the same movie unfold, inevitably ending with hard luck stories, supporters can see straight through the feel-good script.
Celtic resurrect interest in Kasper Hogh as Martin O’Neill turns to Bodo/Glimt’s giant killer in major transfer developmenthttps://t.co/KdwWxWY9JQ pic.twitter.com/12QHkEPQJt

The club with a CEO that can’t cope with agents isn’t about to sign a time served Champions League striker for £7m.
If Celtic opened negotiations with Bodo Glimt other clubs would quickly be in on the striker.
That is what those pesky agents do for a living Michael. Thats the facts.
From initial interest to getting sign off from a distant golf course would probably take Celtic three weeks to complete.
When you have no Head of Football Operations, no Head of Recruitment and no Sporting Director these things happen.
All led by the Chocolate Teapot taking home £17,000 a week for who knows what.

Nobody believes this bullshit… you write lies to save the board, when you know their goal is to spend as little as possible and make a profit.
You should be ashamed of yourselves.— Ces8c7 (@Fmandri87) July 19, 2026
Board using the media to distract from the actual issue which is the board itself

Celtic ‘track’ players. Everyone else just signs them.

You just made that up.

Let me guess the offered a 10th of his value

Seeing this knowing our board would never be able to make such a great signing to make the fans that wee bit happier pic.twitter.com/8mgHuz9tO5

So, if this is to be believed, the timeline goes: we have Iheanachu on an option but don’t take it up (to get a cheaper deal after expiry), we do hee-haw and he walks. So, we are now to believe the club will actually go and spend £7m after haggling over a free transfers wages? FFS man… It is wild!
Celtic are considering an offer
That line does my f*cking nut in
Total discredited, absolute shambles , the odious and despicable Desmond everyday is now making the club a laughing stock ,and it will continue thanks to the season ticket holders who have given carte blanch total Desmond, would any player now consider us as serious contenders for anything apart from the biggest laughing stock trophy . Stop giving them your money or you are complicit in the destruction of our club
From the land of the sinking sun. ? Not gunna happen
Of course.
This £7M Hogh deal can be filed alongside the club’s interest in Rashford: bollox!
The Board has now reached – with publicly reinforced evidence – zero credibility.
And why would any agents waste their time on Nicholson?
Time for Desmond and his puppets to get to hell out of Celtic Park pay us compensation for the misuse of Celtic’s good name to manage his enormous ego and never darken our doors ever again . The amount of money he and his cronies have cost our club (and it is ours not his ) amounts to gross incompetence by means of criminal mismanagement. Good god Peter Murrell went to jail for less.
Kasper played in the friendly and scored an own ghoul. Nobody believes me!
