Celtic Supporters Limited are preparing a Resolution for the 2026 AGM.
The CSL was formed last October ahead of the disastrous 2025 AGM which was abandoned by Peter Lawwell after he had invited Ross Desmond to verbally attack the supporters that deliver virtually every penny of income.
A few weeks later Chairman Lawwell decided to walk away. He was soon followed by his long time Clydeport colleague Tom Allison.
Brian Wilson has been Interim Chairman since January 1.
There is no speculation over who will become Chairman.
There is likely to be a very limited number of people prepared to be Chairman of a PLC operating in the way that Celtic do.
Being Chairman of Celtic could impact on other Directorships with a number of questions being raised about the Governance of the club.
Generally the AGM consists of an uncomfortable 45 minutes of questions from shareholders that are quickly forgotten.
The stale, elderly board then congratulate themselves on their own brilliance and return to running the club in the manner established by Lawwell during 17 years as CEO.
On Tuesday night the CSL will reveal their Resolution in an online meeting for members.
THE CELTIC PARADOX
Like their 64 page Paradox published in May the Resolution is likely to be well thought out and reasoned.
The sort of document that any PLC other than Celtic would welcome and possibly pay several hundred thousands pounds to Consultants to produce.

The Celtic AGM usually takes place in the second half of November.
In the next fortnight Celtic are expected to produce their Annual Report for the year to 30 June 2025.
Despite dropping down to the Europa League a significant transfer surplus is likely to produce a profit of around £30m.
HMRC will almost certainly have benefited with a huge Corporation Tax payment for the third season running.
The usual excuses and promises of learning lessons and improved communications will be delivered.
Celtic will also highlight the ‘launch’ of Celtic Connect as a great initiative for real fans.
The reality is that their refusal to discuss the Celtic Paradox is their biggest statement on communications and fan engagement.
It wouldn’t be a surprise if the Paradox is acknowledged shortly before the AGM alongside the offer of tea, biscuits and patronising afterwards.
If that is the case the Board will have seriously misjudged the calibre of CSL.
NOTE: The Resolution requires the backing of 100 shareholders to make it to a vote at the AGM.

That’s a very good point, which we have maybe overlooked?
Indeed: why would any competent professional consider joining the Celtic Board,
at the risk of being ‘tarred with the same brush’ – and impacting their hard earned reputation?
The lack of a permanent Chairman, and other fresh faces on the Board could indicate
that DD is a blocker to meaningful change at that level?
“World class in everything we do” is simply nonsense – whist DD is still calling the shots at Celtic?
