SUTTON GOES AGAINST THE GRAIN
Sutton called it correctly. Telling the truth is often a novelty in Scottish football.
Derek McInnes and the usual suspects were bleating about the decision after the match.
Conveniently overlooking the attacks of Nico Raskin and simulation of Cammy Devlin that went unpunished.
Three matches into his Staunch Revolution McInnes is still looking for his first win.
Star striker Lawrence Shankland has still to break his scoring duck with £30m man Youssef Chermiti awaiting the result of a scan to see if he will play again this year.
Next up at Ibrox are cup ties against Jagiellonia and St Mirren. Failure in either match may force some bears to admit that they’ll be resuming the traditional Hallooween search for a new manager.
The next SPFL match isn’t until August 30 when McInnes returns to Aberdeen, the club where he won his only managerial trophy.

I remember Arthur Montford was commentating on a Glasgow derby with Ian St John commentating comms, from corners John Brown consistently had his back to the ball whilst stopping Paul Elliott attacking the ball. Both commentators were going tonto over the ref’s non action, that was c.35 years ago, high time the officials started doing their jobs.
