Camilo Duran and Kasper Hogh look to be oF the right quality but more than the Celtic forward line needs new faces.
Over the last four transfer windows there has been a decline in the quality of the Celtic squad. That trend looks like continuing with offers in for Alistair Johnston and Arne Engels.
It is more than 10 weeks since Celtic lifted the Scottish Cup at Hampden.
That match was the farewell appearances for Daizen Maeda, Kelechi Iheanacho and Marcelo Saracchi.
With less than a month left of the transfer window Celtic fans are concerned with the lack of activity in the transfer market.

I’m, I’m really happy. I think I’ve got faith in the board that we will get the players in that I’m looking for, that I think will supplement the squad.
And I think I I think that the players hopefully the players that I bring into the football club are good enough for the next manager to think ‘yeah that’s that’s worthwhile’ rather than changing round again.

It has been known at least since the January transfer window that Celtic needed new players. Most would push that timeline back until at least last summer
Five players arrived in January, none were retained.
Hogh and Duran have replaced Tomas Cvancara and Junior Adamu.
A winger, right-back and central defender were brought in but there hasn’t been any replacements for Joel Mvuka, Julian Araujo or Ben Arthur.
The next deadline that Celtic are working to is August 13 for the Champions League Play Off against LASK.
Two changes can be made to the squad 24 hours before the first leg. Ideally you don’t want to be putting players into their debut in a fixture of that magnitude.
Before the match against the Austrians Celtic have away matches at Kilmarnock and Dundee United.

He will not be backed, they only looked at the profit on selling players , a net spend on transfers of 1 million is a disgrace, we will not qualify in the champions league , and they don’t care ,this will be another season like last, threadbare squad lack of quality a.d playing players out of positions, stop giving them your money or you are complicit in the destruction of our club
Last night, albeit a victory, showed the lack of depth and quality. It’s the same old same old. Chronic under investment and an abject lack of squad planning meets reality.
I fear, and expect LASK will have too much cohesion and speed for this tired disparate Celtic Squad which, given its Celtic very well known as a very adept selling club, less a couple of first team starters in AJ and Engels will capitulate once again and fail to progress to the UCL Group stages.
It’s tiresome, and the same old same old stories coupled with the very evident Stockholm syndrome being displayed by MON doesn’t bode well for the season ahead.
In my opinion if the club don’t qualify for the UCL group stages, the fans should boycott the Europa League .
Martin O’Neill is sounding more and more like a “yes man” with his continual praise for the Boards effort to sign new players, while the fans are wondering why no more signings are forthcoming.

Nicholson is a fud who shouldn’t be allowed anywhere near transfer, as he has proven in previous transfer windows.
Well said Anthony I agree wholeheartedly with both of your posts,This is getting tiresome now with this board it’s the same every transfer window.As for CL that team that thrashed the diets finished beneath LASK we have no chance in qualifier if things don’t change,and if we end up in Europa fans should boycott it.We should be in the CL , we’ll never win it but we should make some headway after all these attempts,how many other clubs in Europe with a 60.000 capacity stadium and fan base such as ours,how many actually fail miserably each year.I also think the overall standard of the SPFL is shockingly poor, probably the worst in Europe apart from the proper minnows,red imps etc .
