The Celtic share price has dropped 30% in just over three months.
On the back of the dramatic SPFL Premiership title win demand for shares was high.
On May 18 Celtic shares were being traded at 195p as the success of beating Hearts to the title sunk in.
Celtic had earned a Play Off place to reach the Champions League.
Over a variety of areas being in the Champions League brings in £30m more than participation in the Europa League.
With the recently formed Celtic Supporters Limited and the Season Ticket Holders Alliance looking to buy shares there was a buoyancy in the market.
The share price rose dramatically.
By June 17 it reached a year high of 256p. Since then the decline has been relentless to the current price of 170p.
Effectively there are far fewer buyers that sellers. The selling price is being reduced to find buyers.

The graph above is based on small trading volumes but does highlight a trend.
CELTIC ON THE DOWNWARD TREND
After the publication of the 2026 Annual Report it is reasonable to suggest that the trend will continue.
Season 25/26 created a loss of £4.8m on the back of a £33.9m profit in the 24/25 season.
Having created another Champions League failure this season the figures for 26/27 will at best be flat.
Turnover will be static, costs may go down a little but commercial and retail income is looking under threat through supporter unrest.
The first effects of Not Another Penny was felt in 25/26, from the Annual Report it looks like around £4-7m was lost through that campaign.
With only a patronising monthly Supporters Update from Interim Chairman Brian Wilson passing off as communications the fracture inside the club is only going to widen
The Celtic Season Ticket Holders Alliance is believed to have £2m ready to buy shares.
In late September that figure will buy much more shares than in June although the arrival of a significant buyer would push the price up.
Celtic Supporters Limited are looking to buy on a more modest level.
By highlighting governance issues the CSL is keeping the pressure on the club.
While arrogant Chairmen can bat away questions at the AGM it seems that there are issues about the running of the club that are contrary to the regulations of the London Stock Exchange.
Buying one share at 195p plus the admin fees entitles a shareholder to attend the 2016 AGM which is expected to be held in late November.

The continued drop in the share price contradicts the rumours that a takeover was in the offing – currently.
It’s probably going to be a similar set of accounts for the current, non-CL financial year too.
And qualifying for the CL is getting tougher / more qualifying rounds.
And that lack of growth in the business is further exposed in a non-CL financial year.
Looks like DD has 3 choices:
– stick with the current set-up, and risk seeing his investment value drop in the long-term
– replace the Exec. Directors MN & McKay with better quality directors, with the remit
to shake up the business from top to bottom
– sell up, sooner rather than later?

If only buddy – If fu**in only !
They have running the club into the ground ,last season we had four managerial changes and ab abhorrent attack on Brendan Rodgers simply for telling the truth ,but they have backed the wrong horse and because of Desmond and his malignant cabal of corporate greed and austerity fc he and he alone has seen the second version of the ragers eclipse us ,will we finish in the top three ,will we ask Wilfred Nancy back or some equally obscure and cheap option, the only reason he won’t sack Martin O’Neil is it would cost money that the self evidently don’t have, the fans will turn against this junta big time when the League position show us where we rank ,and it will be rank rotten .stop giving them your money or you are complicit in the destruction of our club
