A brilliant new video clip has surfaced as the SPFL title slipped away from Hearts.
The Premiership trophy had been taken to Tynecastle with a presentation prepared to celebrate the triumph.
All that was required was for Derek McInnes’ side to win at home to Falkirk and Motherwell to defeat Celtic and it was party time in Gorgie.
Hearts did their bit with a 3-0 win. Bumping the goal difference as they waited on news from Fir Park.
A late equaliser for Motherwell left the As It Stands table with Hearts three points clear and three goals better off than Celtic.
The final whistle blew at Tynecastle. All thoughts were on Motherwell v Celtic. Some fans could watch the Sky Sports stream on their phone.
What happened in the final minutes at Fir Park was the stuff of dreams- or nightmares if you are a Jambo waiting on a title win.
Deep into stoppage time Sam Nicholson elbowed Auston Trusty in the face then used his hand to knock the ball out of play.
Naturally John Beaton awarded Motherwell a throw-in. Unfortunately for Beaton VAR was in operation, he wasn’t getting away with this one.
A penalty was awarded. Time stood still at Tynecastle as the worst fears of Hearts fans became reality.
THE SPFL TITLE STARTS TO SLIP AWAY FROM HEARTS
Kelechi Iheanacho stepped up and scored.
Now, Celtic only required to win the final match to be champions. Before that penalty went in the goal shy Celts would have needed to win by three goals to claim the title.

The Marcelo Saracchi and Callum Osmand combined for Daizen Maeda to net.
The flag of assistant David Roome couldn’t help Hearts. The disgraced assistant referee was over-ruled by VAR.
Soon afterwards Osmand ran in Celtic’s third goal.
The title was decided, Celtic lifted the 2025/26 SPFL Premiership title.
For Hearts there was the consolation of being The People’s Champions as awarded by Kenny Macintyre, Tom English, Alasdair Lamont and the rest of the devastated staff at BBC Scotland.

The whole of The SPFL are losing out for VAR doing it’s job honestly last season and thwarting the cheats with whistles, flags and monitors and thwarting them big time…
Dallas couldn’t And wouldn’t be seen giving St.Mirren a stonewall penalty on Wednesday nor a stonewall red card to Sevco either…
If only our manager would have the gallus of The Suntan Man…
If only Vouter Wracken of Hearts would call a game that’s got f*ck all to do with him DISGUSTING as it allowed Sevco to leapfrog his Scumbos !
