The Celtic B team is in action tonight against East Kilbride in the KDM trophy.
With no first team action until October11 at Motherwell tonight’s match slightly shortens the lengthy international break.
Celtic B have started the KDM Cup in impressive form with wins away to Hamilton and Stranraer either side of a draw with Dumbarton.
East Kilbride have a 100% record of three successive wins in the KDM trophy which proves six fixtures in the same format as the Champions League.
Adding a twist to tonight’s match Celtic recently set up a Co-operation Deal with East Kilbride.
Goalkeeper Marcus Gill, midfielder Liam Kennedy and striker Rhys Dargie are on loan at East Kilbride but have had limited playing time so far.
Players out on loan can be recalled by their parent club at any point.
Tonight’s scenario is slightly different in that it would seem that Gill, Kennedy and Dargie could play for either club.
We have club football coming your way tonight in the KDM Evolution Trophy ?

CELTIC B TEAM SEASON 26/27
Celtic won their opening KDM Trophy match at Hamilton 3-1 with Thomas Hatton, on loan at Ayr United among the scorers.
Next up they drew 2-2 at Dumbarton on the night that the first team crashed out of the Champions League away to LASK Linz.
They bounced back from that to win 4-3 away to Stranraer.
After a decent run of results in the Lowland League West the young hoops have lost recently away to Kilwinning Rangers and Gretna 2008 either side of a 2-0 home win over Dalbeattie Star.
On Saturday Celtic are away to Clachnacuddin in the KDM Trophy.
There is then a short break in the fixtures before the B team are in action in the KDM Trophy away to Cowdenbeath on October 13.
Jonny Hayes and Stevie Hammell are in charge of the Celtic B team.
From the just released Accounts, this is the most amusing / infuriating part of Chairman Wilson’s statement;
“…I was asked by colleagues to step into the role of Interim Chairman and have done my best to bring people together in order to maximise the team’s prospects of success and to encourage improvement in areas where we could have been doing better including communication and supporter engagement. This work is ongoing…”
The same fu**in Shite then…
Lessons will be learned…
Improvement in areas we could have been doing better in…
HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA Ha Ha
They play Clachnacuddin FC on Saturday…
Win Win for me that day…
Especially if Lucan attends !
Injury time equaliser for East Kilbride 4 Celtic defenders bounce off one forward and he scores.Pussies not exclusive to the first team ffs.
Editor: Against stronger more experienced opponents the young team stood up well. Three well build and executed goals, refreshing after recent stale first team matches.
“Dargie now registering 24 goals and eight assists in 41 appearances for Celtic’s B team.”
That’ll be Liewwell on the blower to Anfield to advise when his contract expires then. No chance of sending Tounekti & Hassan to Kilby on loan instead, Martin?
