Aberdeen fans HampdenA group of Aberdeen fans have taken their anger at the treatment of Sevco to Hampden.

Prior to their side’s lunchtime trip to Firhill to face Partick Thistle in the Scottish Cup the fans visited Hampden where they unveiled a banner which read: “NONE SO BLIND AS THOSE WHO REFUSE TO SEE: OGILVIE, DONCASTER REGAN WE KNOW WHAT YOU HAVE DONE- THE TRUTH WILL OUT”.

The banner represents the continuing unrest among supporters across Scotland at the lack of transparency following the liquidation of Rangers.

A secret draft had been drawn up to shoehorn a new club into the SPL but that was forced down by fan unrest as was plan B of giving a place in the First Division to the new club from Ibrox.

Eventually a five way agreement was drawn up between the football authorities and the liquidators of Rangers and the Charles Green led consortium.

That deal has never been published but SFA Chief Executive Stewart Regan has claimed that it was dependent on assurances that Craig Whyte had no involvement in the new club.

In April following fresh claims about Whyte’s involvement in Sevco, including a recording of Green saying ‘so you are Sevco’ to Whyte the Ibrox club set up an internal investigation through Pinsent Masons.

Despite then chairman Malky Murray never getting to see the final report the club claimed that there was no link between Whyte and the new club.

That seemed to satisfy the SFA despite claims that neither Green or Whyte was interviewed and growing documentation linking Whyte, Green and Sevco 5088 and Sevco Scotland.

Aberdeen were one of the clubs most disadvantaged by the financial doping carried out by Rangers, who had SFA President Campbell Ogilvie on the board at Ibrox until 2005.

While the SFA and others wish to hush things up and move on for the good of Scottish football it’s clear from today’s protest that many fans are withdrawing their trust from the football authorities until all details about the deals involving Sevco are published.

i hope thatkeevins realises that the aberdeen fans protest proves that all clubs know how corrupt the authorities are and it is not just celtic fans

  • Stinky Turner says:

Aberdeen fans have NEVER , I repeat NEVER ” teamed up ” with the Huns , as Peter so quaintly puts it , and to suggest otherwise is just made up nonsense from someone who doesn’t have a clue what he’s talking about.

Concentrate your energies on carrying on the fight to uncover the corruption which has taken place on the 6th floor at Hampden , and which the banner displayed reminds all and sundry .

I see you have a new name.I prefer SLEAZY Boab.On.reflection,I would say
STINKY SLEAZY Boab,is appropriate for a
      ZOMBIE like you.
I told you I would not lower my intelligence by replying to a SAD HUN.

I know what I am talking about, ask the
HIBS casuals. In the 80’s HUN and DONS
casuals ‘ TEAMED UP’ against the HIBS.

So STINKY SLEAZY, PISS OFF BACK TO
      ZOMBIELAND.
YOU ARE LEAVING A BAD SMELL WITH
      YOUR POSTS.

Aberdeen fans hated Rangers (IL) and hate sevco of that there is no doubt. But the songs they sung on their last visit and their general behaviour was hun like imo. What celtic do in relation to sfa corruption is more important than those teuchter dicks.

Well done Dons fans your banner might shine a light on Hampden that’s full of incompetence and corrupted self interested occupants.

Would love to see fans of other clubs do something similar and let their feelings be known about the people who govern OUR game.

Surely we could all unite ( fans of all Scottish clubs who feel the same ) under this common movement to have a proper root and branch clear out and maybe recover/ restore some integrity our game badly needs and then normal service can resume where we give each other pelters.

Again well done Aberdeen fans, I hope others follow your lead

  • joe says:

Well done the Dons it is now up to all decent supporters to get behind them and and demand answers from our so called footballing body.
Their handling of the rangers situation has damaged the integrity of our game, what the hell are they afraid of ??

  • mickelmac says:

Oz celt i’ll give you a ticket for the lisbon lions stands for aberdeens next visit. Songs about child abuse etc ,great bunch of fans. If you ever visit Scotland that is,obviously.

    • OZ CELT aka Davie Bhoy says:

I’ve sat beside them at CP- was impressed by there disliking of the govan mob which they displayed vocally throughout the 90mins.

Anyway can’t see why we can’t put any hostilities between rival fans on the back burner for the greater good, which is having a major clear out at SFA and hopefully put measures in place to stop the ‘ old boys network’ from regrouping after said clear out.

    Hi Morrissey the 23,
You speak a lot of sense it is now up to all decent supporters to get together irrespective of what teams we support and demand answers regarding Sevco and the hold they have over our ruling body.

    Well done the Dons supporters

  • jim says:

Will this news make the mainstream newspapers? Fir example, will this banner be shown anywhere in the daily ranger?

  • joe says:

Not the time for front pages due to tragedy at Clutha. Start social media campaign. Tweet sky bbc stv and they will pick it up if enough people raise it

    • peter says:

      I agree Joe.
      Clutha tragedy is so sad.
Just watched John McCarrigle on news.
My heart goes out to him.
From Friday, all he has wanted is to get his
DA’s body,so as to give him a dignified
      burial.
Nobody has contacted him to give him an
      update.
      I feel his pain.

      GOD BLESS John McGarrigle.
      And RIP for his DA.
