Todd Cantwell has draped himself in a blanket of self pity as he opens up on his failings as a footballer.
With his cringe-worthy social media content the former Norwich City starlet is a figure of fun in Scotland with the huge claims on line not backed up by impact on the pitch.
Cheesy dance routines and dodgy photo-shoots have made up for the lack of achievements on the pitch, in January 2023 Micky Beale was the only manager prepared to look into Cantwell’s eyes and take him off the Norwich payroll.
Dropped to the bench for the match against Celtic at the start of this month, TikTok was sent on in the 70th minute where he contributed nothing other than trying to manufacture a post-match scrap with Callum McGregor.
Leon Balogun and Jack Butland were quickly on the scene to rescue their team-mate, the following day Cantwell was playing the big man where he feels most comfortable- on his Instagram account.

Bleating to the Daily Record, TikTok explained:
It would be easy for me to be a lot more introverted as a person but I don’t want to ever live a lie. I don’t want to be false.
The same person I am off the pitch is the same person I feel I am on it. People are always going to have opinions and they will differ. A lot of people will make their own minds up. That’s life and football.
But I don’t plan on changing for anyone. The people who are important to me know me and they are happy with me.
I don’t need verification from people who are irrelevant to me. That personal scrutiny is a bit strange because there’s so much more going on. But it seems to be highlighted quite a lot.
I’m the type of player that invites conversation, I know that. And probably a bit of controversy as well. But I would like to be talked about in terms of how I play football more than anything else.
I understand up here you have people who need to stay relevant and stay in the limelight but for me, I’m concentrating on my football.
