Europa LeagueDinamo Zagreb were held to a 0-0 draw away to Slaven Koprivnica yesterday.

After five wins on the bounce Zoran Mamic’s side were expected to win comfortably away to bottom of the table Slaven but were unable to find a way through the home defence.

Like Salzburg on matchday one, Dinamo face Celtic as leaders of their domestic lead with 26 points from 10 matches.

Looking ahead to the trip to Celtic coach Zoran Mamic said: “We are playing well and were unlucky not to take our chances against Slaven, they defended well.

“We have to get over this setback and remember that we are playing well and in good form, we want to take that forward into Thursday’s match at Celtic.

“Celtic will be a very difficult match, we’ve had them watched and know what to expect, at home they have proved how strong they are recently in the Champions League.”

Elsewhere in Europa League Group D Slazburg face a trip to Rapid Vienna today before meeting Astra on Thursday night.

After drawing 2-2 at home to Celtic Salzburg lost 3-2 at home Austria Vienna before winning 12-1 away to Vienna SK in the League Cup.

A win for Rapid would see them join Salzburg in second place in the table with 18 points from 10 games with leaders Wolsburger SC well clear at the top of the league with 24 points from 10 matches.

Astra are away to Romanian league leaders Steaua tonight knowing that a win will lift them into joint top spot before they host Salzburg on Thursday night.
