Ronny DeilaRonny Deila has been given the ultimate salute- a song by the Thai Tims.

As his side set out on a lap of honour at Hampden after winning the League Cup the public address system decided to play with his surname by blasting out Deililah by Tom Jones.

A little closer to his name the Thai Tims have came up with ‘A do Ron Ron’ to celebrate Deila’s first trophy win.

The Thai Tims have become an integral part of the worldwide Celtic support with their catchy songs and celebrations for various characters at the club.

In 2012 they performed at Celtic Park and have featured in various news programmes for their ability to put a fresh take on Celtic anthems with a topical flavour.

As well as being serenaded by the Thai Tims Deila soaked up the enjoyment of delivering a trophy to over 30,000 Celtic fans inside Hampden.

After enjoying goals from Kris Commons and James Forrest delivering the first trophy of the season the Norwegian said: “We have talked about this (Treble) many times, it is a dream. It is so tough to do it but it is possible. The dream is still alive and I am happy.

“Now we have one trophy and on Wednesday we have to be back again to make another cup, so it is going quick in this job. It is a great feeling. It is good to get a good start when you are a manager at a big club like Celtic.

“This was the first trophy we could win and we did it. You get the appetite and you want more. I am proud of the boys. I think we did a professional job so we should really enjoy this moment.”
