For one minute 27 seconds all was well in the Aviva Stadium and then the curse of Efe struck.
The accident prone Celtic defender had already caused a heart stopping moment with a mazy dribble in the opening minutes but as the warm glow of Leigh Griffiths began to sank in Efe struck to put Barca back in front.
As the Catalan side broke down the left flank Ambrose lost track of Luis Suarez and deflected the ball past Craig Gordon to put Barca in front.
In the minutes after that incident Ambrose was booed when he was in possession but that action was quickly slammed by fans following the match on twitter.
I’m getting fed up of Efe making, and being allowed to make, mistakes as well but f**k those booing him.

Celtic could have been in front within 15 seconds when Patrick Roberts raced in off the right flank and curled his shot around the far post.
It was an encouraging start from the hoops but it wasn’t long before their illustrious opponents started to find their moves with Arda Turan guiding a 20 yard shot wide of Gordon after Aleix Vidal had numegged James Forrest.
Undeterred by that set back Celtic equalised in the 29th minute when some sloppy defending presented Griffiths with a simple chance to equalise.
Five minutes from the break the Celtic defence was opened up again with Munir tapping home to put Barca 3-1 in front going into the interval.
