Scott Brown has sidestepped another attempt by Sky Sports to talk Sevco up as some sort of credible title contenders.
The SPFL broadcast partners seem to treat Scottish football as a two club freak show with anything not involving the O** F*** barely worthy of their time.
At every opportunity Sky Sports attempt to talk up a rivalry that is dead and buried and involved one club deliberately cheating every other club in the country while using Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs to try and stop honest tax payers across the land.
The reality, shame and disgrace of 2012 seems to have escaped the presenters of Sky Sports but they got no joy out of Scott Brown as they attempted to beat the drum for the freak show on September 10.

Speaking from Hampden to promote the Ladbrokes sponsored competition the Celtic skipper was interviewed live on Sky Sports to talk up the new season which kicks off with a mouth watering Hearts v Celtic clash at Tynecastle on Sunday.
Binning the script for such interviews Brown discussed Aberdeen as Celtic’s most likely challengers before a less subtle question about the club from Ibrox was put to him.
Rather than drool over ageing journeymen like Clint Hill, Joey Barton and Niko Kranjar Brown glossed over the question rather than give credibility to Mark Warburton’s debt fired revolution.
Perhaps on Saturday Sky Sports may acknowledge life in Scottish football beyond Glasgow- if they are pinning their hopes on four blood lusty Glasgow derbies it looks like they could be in line for a massive let down.
