Nir Bitton’s new look made a big impact as the Israeli sported a new blonde look against Motherwell.
The 25-year-old had already provided a sneak preview in midweek through his Instagram but the full impact was on show today.
Some fans compared it to Neil Lennon’s transformation from ginger to blonde with the all-blonde Romanian side at the 1998 getting a mention.
Regardless of the look Bitton turned in another impressive display as Celtic won 2-0 to restore their 27 point lead over Aberdeen.
First half goals from Moussa Dembele and James Forrest settled the issue with Stuart Armstrong making a return from injury as a half-time replacement for Liam Henderson.
The main talking point however was a shocking foul on Kieran Tierney that resulted in a yellow card for Ryan Bowman.
With his eye on the ball Tierney was the victim of a straight leg challenge that could easily have resulted in much worse than just a gash on the side of his left knee.
The incident happened in the 65th minute with the blood from the gash still evident at the final whistle.
