Watch the Green Brigade at their best

|

The safe standing area at Celtic Park has been one of the reasons for the feel good factor at the club this season.

While Brendan Rodgers puts a team on the park that is more than watchable the fans have did their bit in response.

Every section of the stadium is alive with the areas around Section 111, housing The Green Brigade, lifting the atmosphere to a new level.

New arrivals Moussa Dembele and Scott Sinclair quickly had songs dedicated to their exploits, Grace is a new anthem with a couple of songs dedicated to Rodgers who certainly appreciates the backing and what lies behind it.

Saturday’s win over Motherwell made it 20 SPFL wins on the bounce with the title on course to be retained at some point next month.

Aberdeen remain 24 points adrift in second place with Sevco failing to live up to their own billing a further six points back.

Should Celtic win their next two matches, at home to Hamilton and away to Dundee, they’ll be able to put the title beyond the tribute act by beating them on March 12.

That’s with the massive assumption that they manage to win away to Inverness Caley Thistle and at home to Dundee, if they take less than three points from those matches and Celtic win their two games then #goingfor55 will be on the moonbeam bonfire before the Glasgow derby.
