Murty’s classic gymnastics fail

Graeme Murty’s prospects of getting the Sevco gig on a full time basis crashed this afternoon after one of the most embarrassing incidents in the five year old club’s history.

Trailing 2-1 to Dundee with ten minutes left to play the ball fell perfectly to Harry Forrester at the back post.

A goal would have maintained Murt’s unbeaten record since taking over from Warbo but the former Watford man snatched at his shot sending the ball high over the bar.

Watching from the touchline Murts tried to perform some strange gymnastics move- and failed miserably.

It wasn’t the sort of move that Ally McCoist, Kenny McDowall or Stuart McCall would have tried.

Last week Murty was told that he was in charge of the first team for the foreseeable future but after today’s result the Sevco board could be forced into action.

If the Reading legend remains in charge he’ll have to get a win away to Inverness Caley Thistle on Friday otherwise Sevco will be looking for their thitd manager of the season with just two weeks to go until they face a daunting visit to Celtic Park.
