What Hugh Dallas does on a Saturday afternoon

|

With referees under more scrutiny than ever before shouldn’t Hugh Dallas be out supporting and helping his under fire whistlers on a Saturday afternoon.

The great self promoter has been keeping a low profile recently as various refereeing issues are investigated.

The SFA’s Referee Committee, staffed by Dallas’ peers, is under threat from new Chief Executive Stewart Regan whilst an internal enquiry is underway into allegations that Dallas sent an offensive email linking the pope to child abuse from his SFA account.

With Dougie Dougie returned to SPL duty yesterday Dallas elected to spend the day on some DIY with his son at his  home working on a shed according to The News of the World.

Asked about the email Dallas told the paper: “It’s being investigated by the SFA, that’s all I can say.”

The quicker that the SFA announce their findings into the email story the better. If Dallas did send the email dismissal seems inevitable, if he didn’t he can get back on with his job without distractions and sideshows.

Wonder if Dallas had someone looking out his bedroom window “observing” him and giving him a grade out of 10 for his performance

I can feel a cover up coming. I mean at the end of the day it’s only Celtic.

Mr Dignity FC mention of linesman Tom Murphy’s Irishie sounding name and his career is over that’s the SFA for you.
